Upgrade is awful

The Uber upgrade has completely eliminated my ability to be picked up at my home, and the Uber pool option has now led to two occasions on which my driver never picked me up but started my trip anyway.

I never write reviews but this is terrible. I am an avid user of Uber and am considering for the first time switching to Lyft.

I have my home address pre-set as a destination in the app. Now, when I specifically choose "home" as my pick up location, the app tells me to walk down the block to meet my driver. For both safety and convenience, I use(d) Uber over taxis in my city because it gives me the option to get picked up outside my home. No longer.

On other occasions, my Uber pool drivers have been "7 minutes away," and then circumvented my location, driven literal miles away and refused to answer my calls when I try to inquire about why Im not getting picked up. This is not okay and, again is related to both safety and convenience. I then had to try to contact Uber support for almost an hour to get a ride and get my "rides" that never happened refunded.

I used to use Uber almost daily but I cant continue to use this app if it is unreliable, unsafe and inconvenient.
