Sick of Uber

Used Uber for years. Sick of their attitude towards drivers, women, governments, paying taxes, etc. Ive noticed the drivers are unhappy, and that really bothers me. I dont want to be driven around by someone who is getting a raw deal - that makes me complicit in their pain. No thanks.

In my city, most of the drivers are on Lyft as well - so why not use that app? The drivers make more money by getting a higher share of the proceeds, and there is a tip line where you can tip in the app. Ive noticed the pricing is about the same and drivers tell me the surge pricing is a bit less, and over a narrower area, with Lyft.

Better.

Also, the latest version of the Uber app wants to track my location all the time - NO THANK YOU Uber. And it is way too much of a hassle to turn location tracking on and off each time.

Using Lyft from now on.
