Overcharged and unresolved
I was overcharged. Supposed to be a less-than-8-dollars charge where they actually took $19.27 off my credit card. The charge displayed on the app was different than the actual money charged. It was only a short trip of 2 miles and before midnight. I only requested the ride because it said less than $8. $19.27 was definitely not the fee I agreed to prior to my request. Utter deception! I am extremely disappointed. I reported it within 24 hours, as soon as I found out the next morning. They kept ping-ponging the issue from person to person and never got it resolved in a timely manner. They even said they were "unable" to find the trip I was referenceing. I was like REALLY? IT WAS JUST LAST NIGHT. I screenshot the trip + charges and sent it over and yet they kept claiming they could not find it. I would have not requested that ride if I knew they would charge me that much. At least the customer should have been informed about the fee differences (at least a range on how much the customer will be charged at the end of the trip) prior to making decision on whether to take the ride or not. ZERO INFORMATION. Total disaster. Complete fraud!
