Ive never been able to use Uber

Ive never been able to use this Uber application: the application says theres something wrong with my payment method (my debit card).
The information is correct every time Ive tried to edit it, the application doesnt allow me to delete the method and adding a new method with the same information hasnt worked either.
I just deleted the application altogether so I use Lyft now.
