Customer Service???
I scheduled a ride to the airport ten days before I needed the ride. Ten minutes before the driver was due to pick me up I got a notice saying that there would be a surge charge of 2.2 times the normal fare.
I did not have enough time to get another ride before my flight.
After my ride I wrote to Uber, tried calling them, and sending an email--but no response at all. I can understand a surge rate, but not 2.2 times the regular rate. Im switching to the competition to see if they have better customer support and service.
