Not useful in NYC

Ive tried using this app to get a ride to various parts of NYC from Staten Island. Nearly every single time, the driver is assigned, and after a 10-15 minute (while the driver is "en route"), the ride is cancelled. Theres no explanation, just 10-15 minutes of my time wasted.

In addition, I recently had a driver pull up, cancel the trip when he saw it was to an airport, and demand cash for the ride. Again, having waited several iterations of the problem above, I was running short on time. I got in, since I didnt have a ride, and tried re-requesting the ride in hopes that this driver would get the request. He didnt, and when I said I wouldnt pay cash for a ride that he cancelled, he kicked me out of the vehicle. The drivers demand was against company policy, but when I complained, Uber said that the issue had been resolved since I wasnt charged.

So, if you want to use a company that doesnt value your time, safety or commit to a contract, feel free to use Uber.
