Questionable business practices

Deleted the app after the last update and being asked to open up a lot of my private data that has absolutely no relevance to ride share...which is the entire idea of the app.
Uber has been making shady moves and will urge friends to avoid the app. My experience with Lyft has been much more enjoyable.
