Terrible
Uber does not care about its riders or drivers just about making their money. Ive had an incident where I was trying to get home after a long day of work and the driver they linked me to did not want to pick me up due to the construction in the area. He kindly told me he would cancel and I agreed. Once it was canceled I requested another ride. I did and surprise, I was linked to the same driver that canceled on me who was much farther away now. He called me again and let me know he would cancel again which he did. At this point the app is on the home screen no rides or requests have been made. I used lyft instead so that I wouldnt be bothered with connecting with the same uber driver again. Imagine how upset I was after already being in my lyft ride to get a call from another uber driver stating he is at my pick up. I DID NOT REQUEST ANOTHER RIDE AFTER BEING CANCELED ON TWICE. I was charged a cancellation fee for a ride I never requested and tried multiple times to contact uber help about this issue, which they blatantly ignored me. They even deleted the help messages I have sent because it is no longer available for me to see it. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. This is not the only problem I have but it is the most upsetting. Ive heard bad stories from drivers as well. My recommendation is to stay away from uber and use lyft.
