Want your ride to take forever, choose Uber pool

My Uber literally just passed me, made a uturn and went in the opposite direction, I am trying to go, to pick up another client. Uber you gotta fix your pooling algorithm.
Not the first time uber pool took me twice the time it was supposed to. Good pooling algorithm would not result in such poor performance.
I wonder if Lyft has better algorithm/less clients so smaller chance of pooling with another person...
