DO NOT UPGRADE
I upgraded. Bad move. The first trip worked, but then the app got "stuck" and would not consider the trip ended. It did not impact billing, but it refused to let me start another trip. (Uber app developers: the pull down menu "floats" down the screen and wont take a tap to activate.)
I killed the app multiple times. No joy.
I deleted and restored from back up. It works again.
Wait for the point release.
That problem is likely fixed, but until they change the app back to access my location only "while using" the app, Im sticking with an older version.
