Requested an uber so I could get to work. App told me the uber had arrived so I went downstairs only to find that he wasnt outside, but rather on another street going the opposite direction. I called several times with no answer so I decided to just cancel the ride since after waiting seven extra minutes, I was now running late. They charged me a cancellation fee that they refused to refund onto my card, stating that it was "credited to my account," even though I explained the situation. Then they had the nerve to say that the discussion was "closed."
Long story short: I was late to work and lost $5 for something that wasnt my fault. Thanks, uber.
