Horrible that you are monitoring our locations

Since no-idea-when update, Uber has offered only two options: your location all the time; no location at all. Why the fess? I uninstalled the app and use Lyft only now.
Its so ironic that I used Uber in the first place, years ago. And I witnessed how Uber lost in almost every battle it had with Lyft.
