Great for a good while, but updates have problems

Uber was truly great for a long while, but recently (after May 2017) some problems began to occur in updates. For roughly two weeks the app cannot get any Uber driver even if there is a driver around. I tested on a one car and nothing pops up on the drivers app screen, while my wifes phone, who hasnt updated Uber yet, worked great.

Im not sure if the Uber management is constantly pushing their software engineers to make new updates every now and then, but as the saying goes, if it aint. Role, dont fix it.
