Someone can add their phone to your account

I am a rider, not a driver. However, I recently found that someone added a Russian phone number to my account as a driver/partner. I do not know where this information came from and I never got a notification from Uber that this had happened. I only noticed something was wrong because I got ride receipts in Russian. I have never been to Russia, I do not speak Russian, and I dont have a phone number in Russia. How could Uber software have let this happen? I dont know. Needless to say I have submitted a request to delete my Uber account. I have no plans to use Uber again in the future.
