Worst Uber experience ever...

So Ive been using Uber for a while, been over a year now. And Ive sworn by the service but the most recent experience that I have is convinced me to switching to using Lyft exclusively in Uber no longer. My Uber driver canceled the drive just as I was walking out to the vehicle and then he told me that I could we do it again to see if you could pick me up but at this point in time it now I jumped up to high surge pricing the fair was initially only going to be $14 and then it was up to $40 at this point.
