Why can a driver rate a paying customer?

How is it that a driver Im paying is able to rate me as a customer? When you buy groceries, does a cashier rate you? When you hire a limo, does a limo rate you? No.

As a female, half of the time, the male drivers ask me for my number, and when I say no, they get insulted! Then they rate me for saying no! Are you SERIOUS? They shouldnt be able to rate a paying customer. Nowhere else is that possible-- restaurants cant rate their diners. Shopping malls cant rate their customers. Hairdressers cant rate their clients. It makes no sense.

People say, oh, well, lets say a drunk customer throws up in the Uber-- the Uber driver gets paid $150 for a vomit customer!! So how can they possibly be able to rate the customer when theyre getting paid for the inconvenient behavior? Stupid concept.
