Uber lies
About 2 months ago, I arrived about 20mins late on an Uber pool. I understand an exact time estimate cannot be made, but I asked Uber if anything could be done for such an extreme late estimate. I was told by, LapynshaiW that “If we miss the estimated time, you will automatically get $2 credit towards your next uberPOOL ride.” Since then I have been late twice on Uber pool and the $2 refund has not been automatic. This last time no refund was even offered. When I pointed out this message from LapynshaiW, Uber told me that I was not late to my ride, when on my recipe for the ride it says, “late arrival”.
This contradiction and lying from Uber is disgusting and unacceptable. Yes, it’s only $2 and a few mins I’m upset over, but I’m tired of people and companies having no integrity or responsibility. I encourage you to no longer use Uber.
