Uber Driver
These customers dont seem to understand that they arent being charged for whatever distance they end up not traveling.
Like any taxi, the distance is metered. I dropped someone off 3 miles earlier than anticipated because she had entered the wrong address by mistake. She wasnt charged for the additional 3 miles. Also, we arent paid for the time it takes us to get to you. Please stop being so ridiculous. While I can agree that Uber takes a larger chunk out of the service rate than I would like, no one is hiring full-time staff in my area due to the minimum wage increase & I have bills to pay, rent to pay, & food to buy. Ive only been with Uber for a month as a driver & Ive never had any problems as a customer. Drivers are individuals- not the whole company. If a driver did you dirty, you complain to corporate! If a driver attacked you, you complain to corporate! Before you are even picked up by your driver, you can see the license plate on the vehicle.
Direct your complaints to the right people instead of the app. The app developers have nothing to do with how your experience with any particular driver went!
