Unreliable, unaccountable

Uber is not a great platform. They used to be more reliable but now they just throw a bunch of people into a pool with an ETA that commonly is inaccurate and their apology is "sorry well do better for the next rider". I have had multiple bad experiences where drivers say they have picked me up, but had not. Its insane. I waited yesterday for 30 minutes for a driver to return to pick me up until I gave up and realized she was never coming. Their customer service is fast but the company needs to rethink their strategy. Give me 20% off my next ride if you know I have such a terrible experience, anything. Refunding a ride I didnt take but lost 40 minutes of my life over is just subpar service in my opinion. If you can travel with no care about when youre getting to your destination, use Uber but if you do care I would avoid at any cost.
