Too many awful experiences to ignore
Ive used Uber now for about 8 months. Ive had quite a few bad experiences with their drivers, one of which showed up drunk and irate. However, today I got a notification about a trip that happened yesterday where I was charged $50 for a cleaning fee. See, what happened was, the woman couldnt figure out where I was, then when she finally did, she parked nowhere near me so I got drenched in the rain going out to her car. I had frozen food, frozen SOLID, as I was being picked up from the butcher shop, and that went in her backseat and I went in the front. I got onto her about the delayed pickup and then her not parking close, she copped an attitude, and the trip was finished. So I guess her response is to say I messed up her car? Multiple people in that butcher shop can attest to the condition of the food I bought, which in no way shape or form couldve leaked or caused any sort of damage whatsoever. I will be awaiting their response, but will surely be deleting the app, disputing the charge, and using Lyft in the future if this isnt resolved.
