I never had a problem with Uber they even sometimes give me discounts here and there. Its a good app so far.
The app is not as user-friendly as it could be. The first time I used the app to request a ride, it would not let me choose between my two credit cards-- it just picked one for me. During the ride, I was able to select the other card, but... uber charged the wrong card anyway. Then no receipt. When I tried to "resend receipt" under the trip, it stated "unable to process your request." The Help function is terrible. There is no way to search for topics (at least I couldnt find a way). I had to click on everything I saw looking for a solution to the lack of receipt. I finally found the topic under help: it states to click on resend, just as I had done. No word on what to do if you receive the aforementioned error message. I like Uber and the app could be really great, but it has a ways to go.
There has been multiple times where Ive tried ordering an uber and the app "failed to request" my order. Upon closing the app thinking my request failed Ive been charged $5 every time this has happened because the driver comes to pick me up and I leave thinking the request failed. This has happened so many times and Ive lost so much money from this. I rely on uber rides and this is such a scam. Uber needs to fix this because this shouldnt happen to other people either.
Im a paying customer who is nothing but cordial and polite. Why am I rated and not told why Im rated as such. How can I know why I have a 4.5 if I have no feedback at all. Not to mention, do I now have to tip to get a better rating?? This is bogus.
I have raised four customer tickets and no reply on configuring the Uber App with no texting plan..
App only works if you allow it to track your location, even when not using the app. No thanks. Ill continue using Lyft until this restriction is removed.
The drivers on this app lack basic common sense and politeness as well as having very high prices compared to their competitor.
I will NEVER use this piece of poo again!!! Seriously a poor excuse for a ride app.
Will be promptly deleting this app.. my friend was charged a $150 cleaning fee for "sweat" after a ten minute Uber ride. Uber gives descriptions of the cleaning fees for certain incidents.. read the description that allegedly warrants a $150 fee and tell me if you think sweat on a seat after ten minutes warrants a $150 charge. On top of that, customer service is non-existent. Instead of being informed she was being charged an egregious cleaning fee, she had to contact Uber for an explanation on the matter and then was given a blanked statement. Will be deleting this app and informing all my peers to do the same.
I requested a ride that was going to take 14mins, on top of that Im in Las Vegas (weather 105, HOT!!) MGM Uber designated pick up area, a parking garage. So after what felt like 15-20 mins I look at my phone and it says on trip. So I immediately call the driver, at least 5 times and I get no answer. I begin to inform him who I was via text, still no response. In this scorching hot garage I watched the driver drop off the other individual on the pool and drive by my drop off location as if I was actually in the car. So now I have to wait another 10-15 mins. for another Uber. P I S S E D was an understatement!!! The next Uber driver arrives and I inform her of what happened she too thought that was ridiculous and called Uber to see what further steps I need to take. Like all other reviews stated they refund your money and keep it moving, they could care less, its all about the money. Well as a four year loyal customer, they lost me!!! I will NEVER utilize their services again, NEVER EVER!!! If youre in Las Vegas and request an Uber and you get Arian with a Toyota Sienna, CANCEL!!!
Helped me when I got played by a driver
I really didnt want to give up on Uber but Im consistently reminded they dont care about customers. The drivers are rude, they do what they want i.e. pull up to you location but hide between parked cars, go to a location they choose and cancel your trip for which you are charged. Then its a fight to get a refund. Ive had Uber show me one charge for a ride and when receipt comes its a different charge. Uber will ask an pool rider to change their drop off to save the fellow rider time but fails to account for your time. Ive recently downloaded Lyft I dont know if it will be better but I know what Uber is about and its not safety or customer service.
The reason why service is so terrible with Uber all across the nation is because they pay the drivers measly pay. Who else will work for them but derelicts? Customers would be better off paying more with Uber taking less commission and letting drivers earn a living wage otherwise service will always be cr*p.
If you need a ride Uber is ok. But they track your location everywhere and their record with women is suspect. Id recommend Lyft instead.
I had a medium sized appliance that I had to move TWO MILES. I called for an XL Uber. I texted the driver several times, letting him know of my situation and verifying that this was okay. He never responded to me. He shows up 8 minutes late and without bothering to talk to me says, "This is for people. Get a truck. Im not helping you." I reminded him that I messaged him letting him know about it, and he says, "Too bad. Cancel the trip." He drives off, and Uber Support sends me an automated message telling me that Im being charged $5 for cancelling my trip. For a customer service company they do nothing to show that they care about their customers. Ill never use Uber again. Id rather call a taxi.

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!
I am downloaded the app and have tried to use it and every time I open it it says the server is not responding. How am I able to call a cab from it if I can ever get on the site? This is ridiculous! Worst app ever!
Tried this service when traveling in Europe. Driver was a no show after us waiting outside hotel for 20 mins. Uber charges you for the driver not bothering to show up. Im sticking with Taxis.
