Check your review in about a week, only you will be able to see your review no one else. I find Ubers business practices to be sneaky and despicable. Im not going to recommend this app from Uber. The Uber app pulls the resale value out of your car to Pay YOU. Uber needs to compensate and pay the drives real money, so they can fix and maintain there cars. Uber doesnt pay much to the drivers at all (Uber keeps about 60% of what the rider pay UBER). Once you consider your fuel cost, extremely high cost of ride-share car insurance, car maintenance and the terrible wear and tear on the car itself plus significant lose of value of your car at resale, especially because of the super high miles on your vehicle. The Uber app is a very bad deal for the drive. However the riders are getting a great deal on your dime and time. Sorry for the bad new.

The latest updates changed location services usage so that Uber tracks your location for FOVE MINUTES AFTER youve ended your trip. This is a huge privacy violation and completely unacceptable. Ive stopped using the app.

Have used uber in the past without issue. Within the last couple months I havent even been able to get a ride. First time with the updates it wouldnt accept my location but suggested a pickup halfway down a busy street at some random spot at night and wouldnt let me change it. Today the first driver I accepted never started moving so after a few minutes I cancelled and put in another request. Driver made it to the entrance of the parking lot twice but never entered, then canceled and drove away. Theres no way to contact anyone for support or feedback. I also noticed you have to allow location access all the time for the app. Deleting app.

Wouldnt let me order a ride. Said i didnt have my credit card info set up even though i did. Had to reschedule my doctor appointment because i wasnt able to get a ride. Get lyft instead!!!!!!

There are constantly bugs on this app and if you try and report any they try and blame it on you. Also as a passenger you can be rated... if Im paying for a service who are you to rate me.

Looks like people hate the company but the app is good. Personally never had bad experience.

I use Uber because its convenient. Its used to be because its prices were better than lyfts and I didnt have to worry about a ridiculous authorization hold. Uber has gotten ridiculous over the last couple of months; they dont let you know when surge pricing begins or ends, some prices are more expensive than normal, and the directions are terrible. Im not sure whats happening as this app gets more popular, but its not making it any better.

So flat rates have been available to everyone around me, except for me. Whyyyyyy uber??? Deny your faithful customers???

I like this app, it has saved me many times, it has been cheap most of the time and gets me home or to my location quickly... only issue is sometimes when I go to my friends house it leaves me in the middle of a street thats not his location and I have to get out and walk which isnt much of issue. I think its a google maps location issue. I think I had this same issue with Uber eats and lyft as well. Also drivers like to cancel on me and I have to pay 5.00 and I dont get why, I was waiting at the pickup location and they drove past me and left me standing there paying for it and requesting another ride. Thats stupid dont charge me when I didnt cancel and they did. Sometimes my drivers make stupid routes please fix the over maps issue.

Please never use uber. The drivers are creepy, the customer service is ridiculously poor. They get mad at everyone for riding drunk like hello if youre driving at 2 AM what did you think was going to happen? I have friends that are banned for riding drunk that didnt puke in the car or act rude they were just drunk. Uber loses a lot of business for banning everyone and that combined with the drivers and customer service will definitely be losing them some business. Im never using uber again.

As a user, sometime i wish there is an option of multiple destinations at times of running errand and such...

Uber continues its downward spiral and has lost my trust. The extended location tracking in the recent versions is unacceptable. Worst of all, they have *removed* the option to use iOSs native privacy controls to allow location tracking only while using the app. Lyft respects users privacy, unlike Uber.. Also, Im no longer able to rate drivers, since after turning off location tracking theres a nag screen every time one opens or returns to the app, and that nag screen blocks the page where typically one would rate the driver right after a trip (dismissing the nag screen also dismissed the rating screen, which is a major design flaw). Uber has officially gone from hit-and-miss to terrible. And, on top of that, now Uber wants access to your contacts as well as your location. No thanks.

Wants 24/7 access to gps location - not just when using the app. KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE SPYWARE. Give us back the "when using app" option.

Ill be using lyft until this is fixed. The new uber app only lets you set always or never in the location services setting. Either you always let uber track you or you have to manually set your pickup location. This is a terrible update, switch to lyft until this is fixed.

Location services option needs to go back to switch on only when using app. Theres no reason to "Always" require sharing my location. Lyft doesnt have this problem. Keep updating to clear the bad reviews out everyones just going to keep reposting them.

I dont know why they always change the price even if you go at the same place the price change more higher. If economy means cheap let then be cheap no expensive.
