I was a first time user. I had a promo code for a reduced fare. The app would not accept the promo code. I contacted Uber after my ride, but despite having $25 deducted from my credit card, Uber alleges that they cannot find any record of my using Uber. Just pathetic.

Tip to other users: NEVER enter your destination until you are in the Uber. The software is messed up and the driver often will try to pick you up at the destination or will not be able to see it in the app once they pick you up. Uber please fix this. My Uber was on his phone for half of the ride trying to access the destination, it was really dangerous. Even though I told him I would just direct him, he kept messing with his phone. And what is this ride pool? It shouldnt be the default option.. It should just be another option..

There needs to be a function included so that the passengers can change and/or adjust the route they choose to take. Its makes everything smoother and much faster.

The driver was rude the car smelled like beer and he was driving slow to charge me more. Never again using Uber!

I live uber, it saves my life always available. I recommend it to everyone. Keep it up

All started so well, then the issues started. - app is worse at every update. Slower, with more clicks and steps and options and... Hell! It is a pain in the *ss to waste a minute every time selecting the same options! - drivers in mexico city are not as good/polite/formal as before. At the beginning 9 of 10 drivers were excellent. Now it is like, 3 of 10. - my gf forgot her glasses in one car. A couple of support requests later and she still cannot contact the driver. No answer from uber so far.

This last update is terrible. I no longer can log into the app. Every time I go to customer support to attempt to fix the issue I get a screen saying "invalid session"

The recent update makes it WAY less user friendly

Does not work...use Taxi. If you request an Uber nothing happens. No confirmation no car no ride. Unreliable.

I love the app and the systems. Just started using it. However, I also heard that they might add a "tips" functionality... Why? Thats what I love about Uber. The price is there and you pay the price, end of story. I hate this whole taxi tipping system. PLEASE dont fall into that trap. Stay Tip free even if it requires increasing your rates a little...

Its so convenient and easy to use except the surge fares popping up one after another. I missed my bus to work and decided to uber there but I ended up being late regardless because 5 different surge fares popped up again and again after each one expired. I didnt want to pay $30 for a 5 mile trip. I might as well should have taken a taxi for that price. Otherwise its a good app and service.

Über service used to be excellent. I wouldve rated it 5 stars just a month ago. However, things have gone downhill pretty quickly.... Updated software requires you to enter destination ... This makes it more difficult to book a cab in a hurry and also potentially more difficult to get a willing driver in some countries as drivers will want to pick and choose where they want to go. Here are a number of issues I faced recently 1. Uber accepts my credit card and says "success" when I add credit card. But when I try to request an Uber it says I need to verify my card. Why cant the system tell me ahead of time instead of when I request an Uber? I was left stuck in the rain and unable to get an Uber because it declined my payment methods 2. It does not appear to accept American Express. It keeps telling me I have entered and Invalid zip code. I enter the same zip code for my Visa card and it is accepted. 3. When I tried to go to the Uber support website, it was down. It appears to be working today 4. I cannot change my phone number. I travel to different countries and it is more convenient for me if I have a local number vs having to pay international charges. My accounts do not allow me to change my phone number. Software should be improved to add multiple numbers and select contact numbers. It used to allow me to update and send verification code but now it just says failed to update. 5. There is a bug in the iPhone SW (I have the latest version). When I delete a payment card, it stays active until I sign out and sign back in again. I cannot delete one of my cards even though I have added another card. If these payment verification and phone number issues are fixed I will likely go back and use Uber again ... Until then I use as a back up

Great app , works great,but most good drivers have left tho bc of the lowered rates Ive heard. I feel bad for them, and this I feel is hurting the service and ruining a genius app. Lower rates for riders is great! but they shouldnt have lowered drivers cut

You should make it where you can pick the gender of your driver... With the new uber family thing, sometimes young girls dont feel compfortable riding with a man they dont know. If you could add this feature it would be great. Maybe to just the family account to start?

Uber is the best

Recent update was a step backwards! If the uberHOP routes are available at some time of the day other than now, why interrupt me trying to enter my pickup/destination locations or even show that info when it isnt available? App updates should make it easier to request a ride, not harder.

Ever since Uber upgraded the app in Feb/Mar in Chicago, there have major issues and bugs! I ride uber almost everyday, but Im starting to rethink that. Lately the times and GPS locations are off. The app says my driver is arriving 5min before they do and sometimes it routes them on slow or out of the way routes. I feel bad for the drivers that have to keep listening to rider frustrations. If things dont improve soon Im going To switch to Lyft or back to cabs.

Glad to have at OHara airport. Fast and quality vehicles.

This app sure makes my life easier.
