Uber App Reviews

I would really like to take an Uber....Ive been pleased before. A few days ago my app stopped opening. Ive fixed my phone settings. Deleted the app. Downloaded the app again. Everything. I give up. Use Lyft!

Updated review for the new update: Another detail-less update begging for a review. At this point I just wonder if they are pushing pointless updates in an attempt to clear out bad reviews for the "most recent version." ------- Seriously. Every update just has a comment begging people to give them a review. Heres mine. Id like more information about what these weekly patches relate to like any good software company would provide. If there are bug fixes, crash fixes, etc. then tell us because some people may be eagerly awaiting said fix.

Easy to use. Great UI. The only issue is that arrival notification is not always sent so drivers cancel rides which results in a $5 dollar fee. Although it can be offset on future rides. Still tacky.

I used to love uber and have used it many times. Given the recent lawsuit and the lack of option to tip electronically, I will no longer be using uber until this feature is available. Its just not fair to anyone involved as is.

Generally good other than the amount of battery the splash screen uses - until the latest update. Now it crashes immediately, totally unusable.

Im sure Ill get the hang of it but the few times Ive used it,while looking for more info on a ride or driver Ive accidentally ordered a ride!

Used to have fair prices. Now theyre constantly in surge pricing. I just spent $38 on what would have normally been an $8 fare. Im done with Uber

Im so sick of the technical difficulties that happen when I am ready to leave. Promo codes are hard to follow and I doubt theyre actually applied to my ride since the app closes and they disappear. And everyone is not always still taking their first ride. Plus very inconvenient to have to scan card last minute when Im requesting a ride for a fam member who doesnt know how to use the app. (A whole city away) So now I have to scan my own and pay for it.(still doesnt work) cant rely on this app & go figure you cant delete an account or remove your card. Thank goodness for the LYFT app.

People seem to love hating Uber, but it gets you there. There is a nice little map and it shows the driver getting closer.

The entire purpose of Uber is undermined if youre expected, as you are, to give drivers a cash tip. Uber claims it is not required. However, drivers will give you a poor rating if you do not tip them, making it harder to even call an Uber in the future. Since Uber has effectively made it compulsory to tip, it should at least add a tip button in the app.

Even if the driver never showed up you still are charged 10 bucks and its credited to your uber account. Uber pool.. What a joke.

i tried to submit my review here but it got automatically deleted now. Argh.... I cannot believe that surge charge x3 from yesterday. Just found out bout it today. Usually id get charged for $8-10 BUT $63.56 for a 12 minutes ride???? It was so short from where I was to home. Outrageous. Unacceptable. I really feel so ripped off. Its my fault for being careless and not even paying attention so Im deleting Uber. Id ask for my refund but its probably too late now. You aint cool, Uber.

Call a TAXI After logging in several times and finally getting through... There is no detail info on service, like the uberx, XL etc... When you sign in on line you get directed to drive for uber, I dont want to drive for uber... I want a couple answers thats all... So I get an email asking me for the questions...20 minutes later nothing... I have to give one star I have no choice

I have been on 50+ uber rides now, and all have been phenomenal. The prices are cheap and they dont segregate against wether you are white, black, male, female, crab, and with uber xl I have space to curl up inside my shell and sleep for a bit!

Awful app. Made me late for a very important job due to simple tech issues.

First thus is not a review of the app or service but the company itself. I keep getting hijacked to this site from other apps. It happens about every 5-10 seconds. I blame both the apps Im using when it happens and this company as they are the ones to benefit from the hijacking. Their app and service may be great but this behavior is unacceptable in todays use of smartphone use.

Love that there is an easy alternative to taxis and a safe way to get home!
