Uber is not a great platform. They used to be more reliable but now they just throw a bunch of people into a pool with an ETA that commonly is inaccurate and their apology is "sorry well do better for the next rider". I have had multiple bad experiences where drivers say they have picked me up, but had not. Its insane. I waited yesterday for 30 minutes for a driver to return to pick me up until I gave up and realized she was never coming. Their customer service is fast but the company needs to rethink their strategy. Give me 20% off my next ride if you know I have such a terrible experience, anything. Refunding a ride I didnt take but lost 40 minutes of my life over is just subpar service in my opinion. If you can travel with no care about when youre getting to your destination, use Uber but if you do care I would avoid at any cost.

Despite the news of company turmoil, this app still remains the best of all the transportation apps with some of the kindest drivers out there. Some of the most recent additions to the app also make me excited for the company to continue improving.

Great app but app asks me to verify my payment info at the worst times. Sometimes I dont have my card on me but u already have it on the app. At the time i needed a ride and had no other options, uber was there just to ask me to verify my payment info by scanning the card but i did not have the card at the time.

This is really getting out of hand. Ever since I got my uber account hacked and you guys said you fixed, Ive been having problems not stop. Every time I reach out to customer service, the send a quick replying telling me everything is fine and theres no problem. I am am DONE with uber. Hopefully Lyft is better.

The feedback loop is all about the driver, needs to be options to critique UBER policy corporation and software issues. It dissuades feedback to say negative things about non driver issues. I have had issues with uber pool - pick up times unrealistic - advertises 3-5 minute pick up which becomes 10-15 after selected. Being dropped by pool drivers - to complain about drivers dropping you goes against the driver that did pick you up - thats wrong. Feedback loop needed for UBER in general.

I missed my meeting at 10:00 AM, my Honda Civic is at the repair shop and I tried to call an Uber and they did not arrive on time. Please fix this!!

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

Terrible.

Have used app for year plus. Im deleting it. Tired of app telling ride will be there in 4 minutes...15 minutes later Im still waiting. Have had smoky dirty cars, drivers not knowing where they are going, etc. Have had drivers try to take me to air cargo in Miami. I entered the airport, my app showed passenger drop off, drivers phone showed air cargo. It took 15-20 minutes to navigate around to the other side all the while his app is telling him to make uturns while my app showed the correct directions. I contacted customer service, they did not even attempt to address. This happened twice. Guess Ill give lyft a try.

I like the app but I hate how some times you multiply the fare by up to 4.0 isnt Uber al about being economical and pay the lest between all the other Taxis.! And why is the app so complex, it should be much simpler than that I would rate a 5 star if it wasnt of the multiple times where my fare was doubled and tripled and even more so Please try to fix that problem or you will lose allot of customers.

Recent update does not allow you to update profile information such as Name or Profile Picture. Fix this immediately!

There obviously no need to state how much more convenient my life is thanks to uber. Thanks for bringing in this great service despite all the regulation hurdles. This review is for the app and I think lately the app has improved a lot . It is so much more slicker. I like the message board and special offers. The Spotify hookup does not seem to work tho. I havent had the music I selected getting played in any of my rides . Keep up the good work.

If you need a ride Uber is ok. But they track your location everywhere and their record with women is suspect. I expect Lyft-type apps to track my location only when the app is in use. Always On or Always Off means Always Off to me. And then the app is less useful. Dont be a creepy stalker.

Theres no place to enter my email to attach it to my existing account! I have to create a whole new profile now with all my information again. WHAT AN UBER WASTE OF TIME! With the phone app you MUST enter your phone number. You are then text spammed which is a big issue if you have a text limit. I had to pay my provider $10 for a new phone number to stop Ubers spam text. Looks like Lyft will have my business now.

Its true, Lyft is better. Better for the rider and better for the driver. Riders save 20% more on average with Lyft and drivers are treated better also. Uber is the most disgusting and despised company in America. What else can be said about a company whos own investors forced the CEO Travis Kalanick to resign. Note that Lyfts star rating is better on the App Store also. The Public knows, Lyft is better.

Your app just hangs. Ended up taking a taxi.
