Updating the app every week to clean bad reviews. Im going to update my review and rate one star every single time!

Tricked me ONCE - Never Again!

Dont download. Dont use use. Pay attention to the download. Dont get bait and switched.

Far from loving Uber

App works only when it wants to work. Today, the app is getting stuck before the "confirm" screen. No matter what, it wont let me confirm a car. And Im at the Indianapolis airport so I know they come here. Uber has a phone number you can call (takes a minute to locate the #) and they claim that "we are always here to help you" but thats a lie. The phone # is nothing but a recording that hangs up on you after about 40 seconds of talking and offering absolutely zero help. But hey, thats why theres taxis and Lyft! C U around Uber (not really).

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

Unfair policies

Ubers GPS is terrible in the loop which causes drivers who are not familiar to get lost and into the opposite direction. This makes waiting for and uber 15+ minutes when the app is showing 1-3 minutes. Yet Ubers policies protects them when you cancel because its been more than 2 minutes you get charge. That is ridiculous for someone who is just trying to get home in a timely manner. Going to lyft for sure.

A tiny needed improvement

I very much enjoy the app and the service it provides. I travel nonstop for work and it is a god send. With that said I would request one improvement. A large image of the actual car that I am waiting on would be helpful. I am not a car guy and do not know so much about make and models of cars. I find myself too often looking at every car that passes me wondering if thats my ride. This would be most helpful while waiting at night. As an after thought, the drivers imagine could stand to be a bit larger.

Bad bad Customer service.

For 24hrs I tried to get an issue resolved. The issue: failed payment on my daughters account. Shes my family member and doesnt have a credit card. So I did everything by the book. Sent her an invite; she accepted. She used the correct profile and then was stranded at school because of some issue with payment. Then spent the next 24hrs trying to get someone at Customer Service (yeah right) to fix the issue. They simply stopped answering. Way to go. So much for customer Service. The least they could do was get a supervisor with knowledge on how to solve the problem. Now going to Lyft.

The worst now

The amount you pay for sometimes changes once u order it, its very deceiving and I will no longer be using it,its annoying

Reckless drivers.

My driver ran 2 red lights, did not stop at the stop sign. Seat belts were broken, and the car smelled of cigarettes.

Scam

If you try to call their "support" line its just a few different sets of recorded voices saying they cannot hear you. Very shady...

Im a human with morals

I have rode in Ubers countless times and the drivers are more than nice. The drivers always give you a little something to talk to them about well... at least in New Jersey the drivers are like this :)

Same driver after 5 requests

I worst drivers in the business. Always canceling or making the wrong turns. Had drivers call me to ask where I was going to see if they want to go that way. Drivers cancel after 15 min of driving around. No type of response from management either. After a few months, this still holds truth. Their support unit doesnt even bother to respond to complaints. Ive taken my last Uber ride.

Stop asking for my location all the time

Things I hate about this app: - I need to keep location services off because you want to track me through the day. Leave me alone. - Your GPS. Why are you making my driver do a roundabout to pick me up? I get you want to take backwards route to charge me our (thanks ya jerks) but why yo pick me up? -Will be deleting soon. So much promise with this app but theyre probably the greediest company of all time.
