this app is probably the best app ever!!! it probably saves so many lives too!!

Now Im not getting receipts after the trip (no, its not in spam/junk and yes, Ive received them before) and my link to SPG stopped working as well so I dont get my rides credited to my SPG account anymore.

Über charged me for a ride and didnt even show up I cannot get in contact with any one from the company I dont have a twitter or Facebook to message them I was stranded because of this horrible company!

Its a great app except for the fact that the GPS takes some weird ways sometimes. I really do like that Uber had made it so that you can tip on the app. That was a great move.

Unfortunately, this morning I had to part ways with uber. The service is fine, although I almost got in an accident due to the driver taking a red! (That is not Ubers fault) What made me officially abandon the app is the first free ride promotion. I set an invite out and so did a friend so two new users can go home. However they asked for a payment instead. I reinstalled it and nothing. When we checked if they had the promo code it said promotion code valid. After not succeeding, I tried Lyft for the first time and it went so smooth! Hopefully they can fix this glitch for possible new users.

The app claims there is a way to share your location and trip with your family but the feature was completely taken off. Theres no way to get in contact with uber or speak to a real person either all you have to go on is there outdated "help" manual. Unreliable and unsafe.

In the past 3 days, 2 of my trips have been late. Which have made me late for work. How do you expect to wait 45 mins for an uber? Especially being delayed and delayed over and over. Ive called and no help. Also with uber eats, placed an order and nothing came. Called support and all they could say is sorry and cancel it? Ummm? Really?

Even so the update says that Uber holds the amount of your trip before the trip and gives it back after 2-3 working days, however most of these amounts are never returned

Id rather use Lyft! I dont feel ok with them tracking me Im deleting and never using this again

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

I bought a 100$ gift card and it never worked, called customer service and they hung up when I called. 0 STARS!

The app worked fine for me but Ubers customer service is robotic and horrible. This is a deal breaker and I no longer use Uber for rides. Im a Lyft fan as their customer service rocks!!

an update of an app that crashes repeatedly, written by the employees of a morally bankrupt company who have no regard for rights of the very human beings from who they are trying to extricate an obscene amount of money for a service of dubious quality provided by unsafe, inexperienced, and inconsiderate drivers. uber has no regard for your privacy (location tracking is on ALL the time), they show you ads in the app (theyre not making enough money?), and the list goes on and on and on.

So I have tried multiple time with different phones and it never wants to take the card. Keep saying error in reading it. No matter how much money I have in there. And now I lost two $15 off codes I was trying to use to get this thing to work. At least lyft worked for me in the end. I had high hopes for uber but no more.

Ever since uber introduced "flat rate" and display the cost approximation of a trip, its actually cost me more, because the trip was based on Waze gps, which is inefficient and often shows the longest, most inconvenient routes. One of the trips I often take now cost twice as much because of the trip rate, which shows a long, roundabout route that occurs on the trip before the trip even begins. Its a joke, and downright robbery. Cmon uber, do better! I got canceled by 3 drivers today and wound up late to work, and wasnt even offered any apology or compensation. If I wasnt convinced before, I am now to completely quit using this failing service.

The map acts like it dosent know where your house is

I have to use my email to login because I hate Facebook and I even cant change my Facebook account, because I dont use my registered Facebook. And Im always changing my telephone number, and when I logged in with the current one, guess what happened? Surprise, Ive created another Uber account, and I dont want it. I just want to login easily, I want to login by email or add my Google account. Stop being Facebook slaves

Lyft Is Better.Too Many Card Complications

I will not upgrade until Uber restores the option to track me only when using the app. If the older version I am on stops working before that change, I will switch to Lyft. Also, please do away with tips. Since prices did not come down, all you are trying to do is guilt us into paying your drivers more.
