How can it show 4 minutes for 10 minutes... over and over again. Awful.

Purchased a ride. My driver arrived, didnt even wait a minute, then canceled my ride and was charged $5 when my trip was only $3.30. Uber did not want to give my money back. This is not the first time. I keep getting robbed of my money. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Needs a live person call center. Terrible customer service when a Roder has an issue. People need people and not delayed messages back and forth especially when it is urgent.

Im aware that Lyft is slightly more expensive than uber but man I gotta give it to them, uber has manage to hold my credit cards and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, I even bought a fifty dollar uber gift card so I could at least use my account but nope it does not work either, so now Im fifty dollars short, left without a ride in multiple occasions prior to downloading Lyft and with a bitter taste.

It is very difficult to get help when you are having trouble with anything in this app.

The update looks nice as far as UI goes. However the timing is still off and you cant update your pickup address. Please fix!

The new app seems to always tell drivers to pick you up sometimes nowhere to your actual location. Also, if drivers are going to rate passengers, there should be reasons marked for low rating other than I didnt like my tip! I refuse to tip you for doing the minimum requirement of what I am already paying for. That being said, good conversation, clean and working car (which no longer seems to be an Uber driver requirement) and being helpful all deserve tips. I guess Ill be trying lyft.

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again.

Ive tried to create an account for my wife. Payment: tried using same account as mine, and I keep getting "invalid payment". Tried multiple cards multiple times and I get same error! useless!!!

I used to use Uber to go to work before I found out how much cheaper it is to just take a bus. Two times my app has opened on its own and set an UberSelect trip to work. First off, I live a good 5 minutes driving distance away, theres no reason to use select. Second, I havent used the app in months. Why is it suddenly setting trips up that I havent planned? Just today, my husband and I had to take an Uber home because I was unable to walk to the bus stop due to bad pains I was receiving. When I planned the ride it was going to cost $7.61. Our driver (very minimal English) picked us up, and a quarter of the way I noticed I was being charged $15.55 for my ride because it changed to uberselect. I was already through the roof upset about that. He then proceeded to ask me, using a translating app, if he could pay me $10 cash so I could give him a $10 tip because Uber was paying him $2 to every $1. How insanely unprofessional?? When we got home my husband immediately gave him 2 stars and put in a complaint. Im extremely upset about the uberselect and am really hoping I get my money back because I only had $20 to last me until Friday. Not happy at all.

These customers dont seem to understand that they arent being charged for whatever distance they end up not traveling. Like any taxi, the distance is metered. I dropped someone off 3 miles earlier than anticipated because she had entered the wrong address by mistake. She wasnt charged for the additional 3 miles. Also, we arent paid for the time it takes us to get to you. Please stop being so ridiculous. While I can agree that Uber takes a larger chunk out of the service rate than I would like, no one is hiring full-time staff in my area due to the minimum wage increase & I have bills to pay, rent to pay, & food to buy. Ive only been with Uber for a month as a driver & Ive never had any problems as a customer. Drivers are individuals- not the whole company. If a driver did you dirty, you complain to corporate! If a driver attacked you, you complain to corporate! Before you are even picked up by your driver, you can see the license plate on the vehicle. Direct your complaints to the right people instead of the app. The app developers have nothing to do with how your experience with any particular driver went!

I was going to an event known as "AnimeExpo" fyi never go on first day lol but thats besides the point as we were waiting on freeway due to back up traffic driver repeatedly forgetting to put his breaks n car would roll back 10 minutes later sitting down with friend I notice us rolling back FORGETTING BRAKES car behind honked we yelled "brakes" but we already has bumped into other vehicle so I asked him we are leaving the vehicle and walked rest of the way

Pricing is sneaky, waits are long, the app kicks you off of multiple rides and charges you more when you request another driver to the same place. No working customer service line. The drivers are really nice, but Uber is still working through issues that dont seem like theyll be resolved anytime soon. Big communication issues w drivers. They dont know how to tell you where they are (simple geographical corners, i.e.: northwest) but charge you for their ignorance.

honestly Uber is the best service out there (in my opinion of course) every driver i have ever had was so sweet and always kept conversation so it wasnt awkward. They all looked like their pictures (which is a good thing) and i never had any problems with them being late. Always clean cars, even some had water you could take, and snacks sometimes. Over all great experiences and will for sure keep using Uber(:

Super expensive compared to Lyft Sometimes 2times more! You cant believe that! The localization is also poor!

I have spent two hours trying to create an account First, I couldnt seem to get a text message with the code, to carry on with creating an account. Finally I do get a code, and it wont let me carry on past the email entry, stating that this account is already registered. I have looked under APP SUPPORT and there is NO SUPPORT!! how the heck am I supposed to use the service??? Help please? Asap or Im deleting the app.

8/10 times this app crashes.
