Why I cant rate my driver from the app itself? When I receive the email receipt it asks me to rate the driver, But why do I have to log in to do it?

Ordered an Uber pool, at the start, my soon to be driver was a block away from me. I thought she was going to pick me up since I was like you know, a f*cking block away. But no, she decides to drive 4 miles away from me then proceeds to do more pickups, while Im still waiting. Took 30 minutes before I decided to cancel. Best part was, it charged me 2 dollars to cancel. Never using this app again.

I had so many bad experiences that I have to delete this app. Now Im riding lyft and its amazing.

Uber line will take you way off course from where your going and make your trip twice as long as it should be. They will also continuously give you a driver heading in the wrong direction that refuses to turn around for 3 matches in a row

Let me ask you this question. What if youre at a bar and you want to go home? You call an uber to pick you up from said bar. Except the uber driver never shows up, or maybe drives by you. He starts the ride and drives to your destination, WITHOUT A PASSENGER IN THE CAR. Once he gets there, he completes the ride, he gets paid, you get charged while youre still waiting for him at the bar. Whats stopping Uber drivers from doing that? Well thats what happened to me. I went through their bogus help system, all app based no phone number or anything which is asinine, and they refused to refund me my money. For a ride I NEVER GOT! Please stop using Uber. Its horrible, from their customer service to their policies, everything about it is horrendous.

Every single time I have tried to use my $100 gift card that I bought so that no money would be taken from my debit/credit, they charge me to exactly that. Even PayPal. I take debit/credit/PayPal off, and they say "you have no payment option" so I cant even get a ride. Asking for help does nothing, all I ever get is an automated response. Basically, they dont care as long as they have your money. I wish I could just stop, but $100 is a lot to throw away. Even more, I wish I could give less than 1 star. Just dont bother with uber, get literally anything else.

My account got hacked, you guys have done nothing to fix it and I can never get support or connection on the app. Thanks to you guys, my card info was stolen !

Totally unnecessary and very creepy to _always_ track our location. They took away the option to use it while the app is running only. Turned that off. This pushed me to try Lyft, which is now my first choice. No different from Uber, except they somehow dont need to always track me. Ubers privacy policy basically states that they can use the data that they collect however they want and sell it to whomever they want. Buyer beware. Update: havent used or opened the app since this update. Just got an email saying that I have it turned off and please turn it on. That is creepy as hell. I trust them 0% to know how to use private data.

Possibly the worst company Ive crossed path with. Do***ebag ceo. Robotic help representatives with generic unhelpful communication. Really low pay for drivers. Really bad riders in the pool service. Worse than the bus.

The other ride sharing apps I have do not need Always access to my location, neither does Uber. They, like any app that cares about user privacy and not draining their phones battery, only require acces to the users location while using the app. Youre not even giving us the option. As of now, its either Always or Never. I will have to delete Uber until they make this change in their apps functionality.

Go to the promotions tab on the app and enter the coupon there. Might as well try it out since it probably wont cost you a thing!!! The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic!!! I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away.

Great. The price goes up $5 just because its Fathers Day. Way to go. As if the price is REALLY that much cheaper than calling a cab. Ill just walk next time. Every time I request one, the driver always has no idea how to get here. Ill wait for 6 minutes for 15 minutes. The price also said it would be one thing, but got charged more after. Never received my free first ride.

Ive been having issues with validating my phone number when trying to schedule a ride & Uber doesnt have a customer service number to call like Lyft does. They only have an emergency number. Im not a big fan of slow email responses when I need my ride situation fixed asap. My Uber experiences havent been bad but this issue is preventing me from using the service. Maybe its a sign.

Theyre constantly changing the format of the app. And, once you get used to the new way of navigating it, they change the app up on you again. Some of the splendid updates include drivers no longer picking you up at the right locations, totally inaccurate wait times and a company who provides you with a $5 credit for all their wrongdoings as opposed to refunding you your money for services not rendered or fixing whats actually not working with the service or app.

You guys should be sued. So I cant delete my credit card number now? Now I know you might try to scam me. I am deleting my account now. And i swear I will be monitoring my charges. And making me turn on my location to "always" or I cant use the app? Definitely deleted. You guys basically rob your drivers of their money and take the value out of their car the pay them. Because they are left with a worthless car after all that driving and having drunk people in your back seat.

On multiple occasions Uber has stolen money from me. One time a driver accepted my ride, Uber charged me then the driver casually cancelled the ride and I didnt get a refund. Another time a driver picked up the WRONG passenger and brought him to my house leaving my friend who he was originally supposed to pick up 20 miles away. The driver didnt even bother to ask for the passengers name before letting him in. Uber doesnt give a sh*t about this and doesnt have any sort of costumer service help you can use on the app. Gonna use Lyft instead
