9pm by the airport, requested rides about 5 miles away but had it cancelled and turned down 4 separate times. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the 5th ride to come. Reliability? You decide.

Where is the option to request a car seat for families that are traveling with a child? Be the customer.

Uber please fix this immediately. It is not acceptable to continually track users. You only need to use our location when we use the app. I refused to use the service until this is fixed. Now you want access to my calendar. No. Deleting app for Lyft

Uber. Lovely Uber. I like what youre doing, but its being weird sometimes. •Always on location: I dont care about this. Why do people complain about it? Its your location. Google had been doing it for forever now, Facebook same thing, I mean the concept is not new, and it helps fix issues later on with the app. Sure, privacy and whatever. But its not like its recording your conversations, or taking pictures, or sending your data to some offshore thing for investigation. Its your location. You have to seriously be doing shady business to cry all that much about an app (when almost all apps nowadays do it) tracks your movement. So what, the Fitbit app is malicious too, how about Apple Maps? Come on. •Pricing: Just fine, sometimes I feel like I pay too much, but usually I get pretty good ways away with around 1.99-2.50, so thats great. •Navigation: This kinda hurts. Sometimes locations arent accurate, sometimes the GPS in the app is broken, or stupid, or slow, or a combination of all of these. Fix it. •No tips: Come on. Lyft does it. Seriously. Its not that hard to implement. The only reason I dont like Lyft is that it charges me 2-4 dollars more than on Uber, but they refuse to put tips in, considering there are some really great drivers and they deserve it and I usually dont have cash on hand. Add it. •UI: Easy to navigate, simplistic enough. Wish there was a dark themed mode for night time usage, so it doesnt blind me when Im opening it coming back home from work. A little more visual appeal should be good too. •Speed: App runs pretty well, sometimes I get hiccups and such, otherwise, just fine. Should be more quicker when it comes to matching drivers and riders, sometimes I feel like it takes insane amounts of time. •Notifications: Should be interesting to have an alarm-like notification when the screen is off and it shows the driver name, car details, and plate, and you could swipe it away. Sometimes I want to conserve my battery and having the screen on, watching to see if I get matched, or who it is Im going with, kinda kills it. Or at least streamline them a little bit more.

I will not be using this app anymore. Because I declined letting the app keep tracking my location even while I am not using the app, it is now next to useless. Good thing I still have Lyft installed, because with Uber there is not even an option in the privacy tab in the phones settings menu for tracking location "Only While Using" like there is for other apps (Including Lyft).

I am an Uber driver and I wish people knew how the terrible Uber driver app sets us up to fail by taking us to the wrong location to pickup. It also doesnt clarify what freeway to take- just days "go towards Los Angeles" etc, and takes us in pointless circles...all the time! The passenger is mad at us as soon as they get in the car which is not our fault. To top it off were taking all the risk, with our cars, paying for every repair and many hundreds of $ for gas, and getting very low pay. I dont know why people think the pricing is high- as drivers we get less than what you pay, and think of the time and money we spend. I think the main thing Ive learned from this job is how the general public is so lacking in empathy. Its sad.

During one of my recent trips I was charges 60% more that the rate that was estimated for me. Uber would not acknowledge or explain it and refused to refund part of my fare.

Go to the promotions tab on the app and enter the coupon there. Might as well try it out since it probably wont cost you a thing!!! The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic!!! I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away.

Nice new features, location always ON and we dont have the choice for "only when I use the app" option.

*nice try with blank updates just to clear your horrible reviews* 1. Constantly tracking my location = thats creepy and illegal. Funny, theyve disabled our choice to change that. 2. Every driver (former cab driver) is now wasting your time to find other people to carpool with on YOUR DIME. 3. Way more expensive than when it started. Driver recently charged us $75 for an $18 fair = uber just said its my fault.

hey! youre almost the best, but can you pls make it possible to rate drivers from "your trips" in menu? now i may only complain from that menu item. i know i can rate drivers right after the ride, but usually i forget about it. and also! can you pls make it possible to enter into uber app directly from gmail? its quite irritating to log in into uber site on safari every time i need to check on my ride. thanks!

Ive only used Uber once. The driver arrived quickly and was friendly. I arrived home safely and in a timely fashion. So why a one star review? My Uber account was hacked and some Russian folks received a ride on my account and accessed my debit card information. If you require credit/debit information, it MUST be secured.
