First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!
They changed you so mucho just for couple blocks
My uber has been driving in circles for almost 20 minutes and he keeps pushing my calls to voice mail and obviously hes not reading my texts because if he did hed know where to go. Im not paying for this cancelation fee!!!!!!!
Uber just keeps getting worse and worse.
Uber disabled my account and I cant open it for months now. Bad customer service.
Why does uber need to know where you are even if you have if you have no intention of using the app in the near future. Happy to give that option to them if they give a cogent argument as to how it benefits the consumer and not the company.
Can you please switch the location service or add a third option like many app (While using the app) Instead of the two currently we have (Never or Always) Thanks
there should be an option to only allow the application to use your location services while using the program not always or never
The Uber app gives you the option to have location tracking either always or never. They claim its to enhance the user experience by monitoring you for 5 minutes after a ride. Not only is that creepy, if you give Uber location permission, its all the time, it doesnt have to shut off after 5 minutes. Uber makes the app almost unusable if you select the option for never. Even if you have location services enabled, the map will place you in a completely different location and then they charge you when youre picked up at your real location rather than at the erroneous location they selected in their app. Drivers will cancel on you if they dont like your drop off location or drive away from you to force you to cancel. When this happens you get charged. Customer support, or rather lack of support, will reply with cookie cutter responses that dont address any real problems or concerns and they refuse to give refunds, only credits, even if you shouldnt have been charged in the first place. What good is a credit if I dont want to use Uber again. On top of all of this, there are multiple allegations of harassment internally at Uber, and allegations of assault by drivers. You would be wise to avoid using Uber!
Their driver stole my wallet, reported to the police and uber did nothing!!! No way to contact them. These are not human!! Stay away, we are humans not machines...
There should be an option to only use the location when the app is on. It drains the battery to bad to have to location on all the time.
This issue is annoying enough that Im 1-starring the whole app. There is NO WAY to remove Apple Pay once youve set it up which means that even when you have multiple forms of payment, there is NO WAY to fare split.
Uber has caused me nothing but grief. They run their business horribly and charged me for rides I did not take. Never using this again.
I love the service and the drivers. I hate the app. Always having to track my location is wrong Uber. I hate having to keep shutting off the location services, because you LIE Uber. You said you needed to my know location 5-10 minutes after my ride for my safety. Then you said you wouldnt track me. If I leave location services on next day I get a notice from Apple that you have been tracking me for 24 hours.
Sometimes if you search an airport in your city, the destination is set to the middle of a runway, and the calculated route is several miles longer than what it actually is. You pay $4-6 extra than what you should. I reported this to Uber over a year ago but never received any response. And Uber thinks that people will get used to alway being tracked. No. I am not giving your permission and will not use your service, including UberEats. And we still havent forgotten that you used to reserve hundreds of Lyft cars then cancel, and repeat and repeat. What a mean company! I havent used Uber for over a year. But Im keeping this app because you tend to update it frequently to hide negative reviews and Ill make sure to post one as soon as your app is updated.
My problem with Uber app is change the person money even if he is not on the car and you rate is three when you download the app and the app should be perfect than the other because this app is the first app and the problem with the app doesnt no exactly the location out of state but in the state they know exactly the location but out of state they never know the location even they from the counties And the driver doesnt follow the blue point that why Im mad from this issue and why they doesnt but color the car on the app because the person can know what color the car is and name the car and options like choosing car big or small or large everywhere this should be in every app like Careem or other apps??????????????????????????????????????.
Now the new thing is for drivers to purposely forget to mark the riders as "dropped off" you guys should make the riders app notice the distance between the drivers and riders so that this stops happening. People are getting tired of this issue
