Unreliable, treats customers terrible

Drivers cancel all the time, or call me and tell me to cancel. Most drivers seem to have issues navigating. Ive been charged numerous times for rides that were cancelled. There is little to no customer support. Im now being told I caused damage to a car that I was never in.

Just Meh

It used to be a great app/service, now they push app updates so often it is ridiculous. Get it together and stop wasting my time and bandwidth. More than once a quarter is too often to update an app and Uber likes to do more than once a month? Nope.

Stop updating every five minutes!!

Okay app but is it really necessary to update it weekly? Youre a ride app stop annoying me!

Always on location access

Nope. You dont get to track me all the time.

Unusable (lack of privacy)

I will not be using this app anymore. Because I declined letting the app keep tracking my location even while I am not using the app, it is now next to useless. Good thing I still have Lyft installed, because with Uber there isnt an option in the privacy tab in the phones Settings app for setting the tracking of location "Only While Using", like there is for other apps (Including Lyft).

Useless support

I have issue with my "payment method", but that is only Ubers problem, because all the other taxi apps work perfectly well. Under support tried to solve that THREE times, every time the same zero result. Professionals...

Worst customer service EVER

My payment source was compromised. Despite 2 backup sources, I could not get a ride when I needed it. Despite trying to adjust the payment default for 20 minutes. So I used the app help system to try and resolve the issue. Over 3 hours later, I get an email asking for a screenshot of the problem. I didnt take one and expressed I didnt want to ask for a ride at this time. I get another email telling how to take a screenshot on iPhone or Android. Really? How incredibly insulting. Again, I express concern about being charged a cancellation fee of the payment issue has been revolved. Crickets. So I request an uber pool, and the request goes forward. So I immediately cancel. $2 charge. I request a refund. Denied. I canceled a trip request. Im so beyond annoyed. I feel like Im in an email conversation with a bot which can interpret only know keywords. This whole thing is ridiculous. Why have multiple payment sources of they agree not vetted and available. Why not respond with "yes, weve fixed your issue" instead of a form response on how to take a screenshot. Bottom line, DONT USE THIS SERVICE - YOU HAVE LITTLE TO NO RECOURSE IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH THEIR CHARGES!

If you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon "jm9407ue" and get $20 off your first ride! Seriously!! Enter it right before you request a ride in the promotions tab. Might as well try it out since it likely wont cost you a thing! The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away, and price is usually the cheapest.

They accused me of owing them over 800.00 usd and told me that they will ban me until i pay this upsurd and ridiculous amount.

Horrible customer service

Consistently have issues with the people that reply to complains Uber received. They are never helpful, rude and could care less about the riders. If you want professional, polite and CLEAN service I recommend downloading LYFT. Will never go back to uber again.

App could be better

Need to have option other than always or never for location services. Also, should allow to view the miles before purchasing and while in transit. No options for feedback within the app?

Worst customer service

Dont rely on this up while traveling Im in Paris now and Ive been trying to solve a problem with this app for 5 days. Its just keep telling me to change the payment method all though I have 2 credit cards all working and every time I ask them to solve the problem they said it is solved but when I try to request a ride I cant.

My problem with Uber app is change the person money even if he is not on the car and you rate is three when you download the app and the app should be perfect than the other because this app is the first app and the problem with the app doesnt no exactly the location out of state but in the state they know exactly the location but out of state they never know the location even they from the counties.

Needs to only track location when app is open

Its useful ride sharing system, but it needs to stop tracking your location 24/7. Also, they need to allow drivers to re-open rides when they accidentally drop off people in the middle of a ride (happen to me twice, and I had to guide the driver to my destination).

When did UBER start calling you to see where you were going??

Ive been stuck at the airport for 30 minutes because my last FEW drivers called me asking where I was going then saying it wasnt the direction they were heading. I use Uber at minimum 2-4 times a week Ill for sure be switching to something else
