Ive been double charged about three or four times with Ubers. I have to call my uber 30 min ahead of time cause I already know theyre going to take their sweet time "looking" for me. Ive had drivers yell at me when I ask where they are with there response "Im the black car". A waste of my time. Watch my location 24/7?? Watch my location as Im driving with lyft????

The app & the business itself is a scam.

The way the company is run is terrible and treats both passengers and drivers like scum. Perfect example of a company that cares about maximizing profits. Do not support them.

It is unbelievable how they update the app but keep the options for Location as Never or Always. Pathetic.

Uber app tracks you location even if you are not using it. Dont step in consumers toes. Now I cant wait for iOS 11 where we can finally put this shady practice to bed, for this and other apps. In the meanwhile Ill use lyft

I dont like Uber as a customer but Lyft wasnt allowed at a particular airport. So I downloaded the app and set up my account but it erred out on all my payment attempts. Without any option for in app support I had to find another option. Immediately deleted the app, as it tracks your movement even when youre. It using it.

even there is enough drivers still uber profits by charging you quadruple the base rate. 70% of the time the rates are high due to increased demand ( false, thats how uber tricks you) cant wait to see this company getting sued big time like enron

Have had great service by far! However, it would be nice to have the option of the app accessing my location only when its being used.

Uber is either amazing when it works or horrible when it doesnt. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired -- a lot of seems outsourced and they dont understand my problems. Ive also had location placement issues as it keeps putting me in places other than my current location.

I use uber everyday, if not multiple times a day, Its extremely convenient and helps me out a lot. The only complaint I have is certain drivers (not necessarily ubers fault) and the current location never being accurate.

The last two months my friends get access to Ride Passes. Somehow, I cant even though Im right across the table as they are signing up! Maybe because I complained about it and they didnt? Maybe because I used it more three months ago? The app has a button "notify me" but it doesnt. Im always kind and respectful and yet my rating keeps getting lower. The drivers get feedback but customers dont? Uber must mean "get screwed"

Very convenient & Im thankful for this service, wish we could choose our routes before paying; there are toll free routes & I have to pay extra for the toll :/

Ditched uber for lyft. Wont be going back I dont think. Uber does NOT for any reason need to be able to track me all the time.

The driver called and said he had a flat tire and I should cancel the ride. I did that and Uber still charged me for the ride... terrible app just use lyft if youre looking to get somewhere sans cab

Where is the option to use location services only while using the app?

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Horrible! Lyft is so much better.
