Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

I always call to inform my drivers ahead of time that I have a service animal that needs to be with me at all times during travel. It is absolutely unacceptable that you do not have a policy that commits your drivers to be service or support animal friendly. You know thats illegal, right?

Today I will be taking my final ride with Uber because iBotta has a $5 cash back reward that expires tomorrow for taking an Uber. On top of the constant tracking of your location. The navigation system is a nightmare!!! My trip never cost what I agreed to!! I reached out to their "support" told me that they charge extra if theres more than a two min wait. Seems funny because Im always outside waiting for my ride. Sneaky drivers say theyre at my pick and run the meter early!! Scam! Once a driver who had no training asked me for gas money and dropped me off at a gas station on the west side of Chicago in 13 degree weather at 1am!!!! Because he didnt know how to use the app or have enough gas!! Im a young woman with a visual disability it was terrifying! They only gave me a refund!! I love the idea of ride share and Ive used uber for years but they will not get my business anymore!

My card was denied when there in fact was money on there I downloaded LYFT and I typed in same card with LYFT and it went through smh. Goodbye uber

You should be using lyft by now. Lyft actually checks their drivers history before hiring them. Ive had two separate instances where a driver has tried to force himself onto two separate girls Ive ordered a uber for seperatey. They do not care about your safety. Do not trust your sisters, wives, or significant others with this service. They do not thorough background checks. Just use lyft, seriously, Ive never had a bad experience. Unlike uber where every male driver you get, you should be concerned for the girls safety. Also, uber does not help in firing drivers who partake in such barbaric attitudes towards woman. Its absolutely disgusting.

Im really bummed that this company turned out to be crap. I liked it for a long time - a few years, and now Im done with it. How anyone got through to customer service is beyond me. They make it close to impossible to find a way to contact them. I dont have time to play games. My driver was lost due to a gps issue and he charged a wait time for something that was completely out of my control. Guess theres no way to resolve this since Uber wants to be as incognito as possible. Over it. Stay with uber if you expect 100% of your trips to be perfect.

I cant register and my old account not work No support No help

This app has been giving me different prices for the same ride after each second of updating. The fares are not fixed and are able to change according to the amount of times you change the address. Additionally using location services while not in the app is complete lack of privacy

Yesterday I had a friend suggest I use an uber instead of walking 4 miles. I ordered the uber and went outside to wait. The driver was waiting at the wrong address, the wrong side of a large apartment complex (different street name and number) so after waiting, he cancelled the trip. He passed me as he was leaving and explained what happened. I then ordered another uber, and though he was right there, I had to wait another 20 minutes for a different car. In all it took almost as long as walking and I was charged 5 dollars for a cancelation. IF I EVER use uber again, it will be out of utter desperation.

The driver should not be able to see the tip till after they score you. That way your score is not determined by the tip but by your actual personality and friendliness.

Cannot be used even to check fares or route availability in Japan without login. E-mail not supported. Demands mobile phone number, or social account, Google or Facebook, no thanks: "Uber will receive: your public profile, friend list, email address and verified mobile number."

Service is terrible, think I couldve gotten kidnapped one time. My friend and I were trying to head home (she gets dropped off then me). Once the guy picked us up he was totally heading the opposite direction which was heading to another city. We told him he was going the wrong way so we gave him directions ourselves and he got mad and yelled at us. I didnt feel comfortable so I decided to go with my friend to her house. After he dropped us off he probably circled the block about 2-3 times to find us. Scary experience.

I set the pickup as "home" yet it insists on changing the address. So terrible.

I know people give Uber a hard time about being creepy but honestly Lyft is just a creepy and I dont have a car so Uber it is

I was raised to give tips, so I have no problem giving them. However with the tip update Ive had drivers actually harass me for tips. It creates an extremely awkward situation. I dont like being told to do something. Im the customer. I shouldnt feel bullied into tipping. I should want to tip because I appreciate the service. Uber, you messed up by adding the tipping feature. Good thing theres lyft. Since the new update Uber has gotten significantly worse. Im being double, if not tripled charge for a single trip. I also have had a run in with a drive who dropped me off and then continued the trip for 6 miles. I had to pay over double because my driver didnt end the trip. Uber youre getting a worse in a short amount of time.

I think the app helps a lot its good for going anywhere near and far but still some issues

Was forced to update to the new crappy UI, hard to navigate and lost labels on stored credit cards...bring back old layout or Im switching to Lyft

Im downloading this again, but ONLY to see how/where my account has been HACKED!!! Ugh...

The app worked perfectly before with "when using the app only" location setting, removing that option is user hostile and actively makes the app worse since "never" is an inferior experience that makes Uber hard to use. Oh well, thats just more money for Lyft
