Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

I take uber for the same route all the time.. now a days uber is charging me more money then earlier for the same route. Whats wrong with Uber now?. I like the service uber provide but STOP charging unnecessary money.

Absolutely disgusting Uber

This is a warning, dont do it. Dont do the uber. Do not get involved with this company. I find Ubers business practices to be sneaky and despicable. Im not going to recommend this app from Uber. The Uber app pulls the resale value out of your car to Pay YOU. Uber needs to compensate and pay the drives real money, so they can fix and maintain there cars. Uber doesnt pay much to the drivers at all (Uber keeps about 60% of what the rider pay UBER). Once you consider your fuel cost, extremely high cost of ride-share car insurance, car maintenance and the terrible wear and tear on the car itself plus significant lose of value of your car at resale, especially because of the super high miles on your vehicle. The Uber app is a very bad deal for the drive. However the riders are getting a great deal on your dime and time. Sorry for the bad new.

Sadly, this newest version of the Uber app has a serious issue where it asks you to give it rights to your exact location ALL the time - not only when youre taking a ride, but also while you sleep, while youre at work, while youre driving your own car - literally ALWAYS. All-the-time GPS drains batteries, and I dont want to give Uber the right to sniff my every move every minute of the day. It is just creepy that Uber would want to be able to pry into their customers every moment. Do they share customer location data with drivers? Or just with the executive offices? Creep-out! I suggest you try some of excellent alternatives that dont abuse personal information. Most of the same exact drivers work for the alternatives too, but without these troubling personal privacy practices offered by Uber. And most alternatives, I have learned, are less expensive. We all win! Original Review: Since the app and service are tightly coupled, my review is for both. Overall, very good. Generally better than a cab. I have had one problem driver - crazy guy - but likely no less crazy than some cab drivers I have had. App could be easier to use, but it is quite good.

Honestly ive only used Uber like three times and the first two times were okay, but after the third time of using it Im going to discontinue using Uber. My uber drivers google maps was completely off the location I was trying to go. It was making him make more turns into the freeway and out and back in when my destination was literally one turn into the plaza. Plus they had charged me 10.50 for the ride when I had first requested the ride then I ended up being charged 17 dollars. I dont know why or how that was possible but it was not worth the ride. Im not blaming the driver but the maps app was just stupid.

Drivers cancel after like 2 minutes and they still charge my account for the ride. He didnt even call or anything. We get it. Its busy and you want a ride. But cancelling right away and taking my money out of the account and charging me a $5 fee is unacceptable. This happened twice already

No Uber, I do not want you to be tracking my location 24/7. I dont even have a choice as to whether they can track me all the time or not!!

The whole purpose of this app was to be a better and cheaper solution to Taxis yet rates continue to grow, it has taken multiple drivers 20-30 minutes to arrive, drivers have gotten lost before and during my ride and Ive been wrongfully charged for someone elses mess. Not to mention they dont allow you to choose "use my location while in app" they have access to your locations at all times which is a huge invasion of privacy and who knows what they are doing with that information. Get it together Uber.
