Terrible app dont ever use it

Set a pin location. Waited for my ride for nearly 10 minutes before I realized my uber driver picked someone else up . They were near the destination when I realized I immediately tried to stop it. They did not send me any kind of notification telling me the ride was even in progress! I contacted customer support they would not reimburse me and to top it off I was charged 5.00 more for no reason . Terrible app Go to Lyft instead. Fix it Jesus.

Location tracking

Location tracking is either always on or always off. This is total non sense. Its a creepy way to track people.

Uber las vegas is crap

Poor app update leaves throngs of people looking for their rides. Hotels did a good job with designated pickups but app isnt clear. Wont let you change pickup location once you realize it marked you at the wrong entrance or hotel. Pickup descriptions in the app are not clear.

App can not tell where you are

Fix your app and let people choose their actual locations not gauge "pick up points" that and drivers half way down the next block and on the wrong side of the street so that you have to hunt for each other EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Lyft is better

Uber took away the option to track location only when using the app. Now the only options are either allow Uber to always track your location even when not using the app, or to never allow Uber to track your location in which case the app doesnt work properly. I also dont like how I cant tip drivers from within the app so that it gets charged to my credit card. Fortunately, Lyft allows tracking location only when using the app and allows tipping drivers using their app. So I use Lyft now instead.

No option to use location only when using app

The app needs an option to use location only when the app is in use. There’s no problem when I turn off the location for this app and turn it on when I’m using it.

For obvious reasons

No option to turn off location and now there is tipping. The one thing they had that was better than Lyft

Inaccurate Wait Times

I have just switched to Lyft and I am enjoying it much better! Uber repeatedly would tell me expected wait times that were ultimately 10 minutes shorter than I actually had to wait. If you are even bothering to make an estimate please make it slightly accurate, no matter how long the time is, I would just rather know in advance. Lyft has been so much better at this!!

Unacceptable and very pervy!

Location tracking alert! Do not trust these guys with your location data. Apple should remove Uber from the app store. NOT a consumer friendly company. NOT an ethical company!

Car seat for my

I wanted to use uber for the first time but I never saw an option for a car seat for my 2yr old son. Please add its a must. I wont let my son ride without a seat. I know other single moms feel the same.

Crappy service

I would not recommend using this app unless youre okay with incompetent drivers and their crappy navigation. It seems that the navigation app they use cant decide which route to take and leaves the drivers going in circles (not their fault, of course). Aside from that, the worst offender has to be the fact that most of the drivers have crappy communication and this wasnt the case before when the company first started. This company has changed for the worse when it comes to solving issues and sadly the customer ends up paying for it. Sure, they conveniently offer super cheap fares, however you pay for what you get.

if uwanna be tracked likePrisioner use Uber

Uber was not only created to scam 20% of worlds taxi income WITHOUT ANY Taxation but as well they get paid to track your a.r.s.e like a prisioner.. ypu dont need Electronic Prisioner Chain ifu have uber Lol seriously they get paid hundreds millions to share your locations and personal information to the Banking System and other 3rd parties you became a slave of them easy to track like u were their property.. just bad and locations shouldnt be neded or forced to use..

horrible app from a horrible company

an update of an app that crashes repeatedly, written by the employees of a morally bankrupt company who have no regard for rights of the very human beings from who they are trying to extricate an obscene amount of money for a service of dubious quality provided by unsafe, inexperienced, and inconsiderate drivers. uber has no regard for your privacy (location tracking is on ALL the time), they show you ads in the app (theyre not making enough money?), and the list goes on and on and on.

Hate uber

Their drivers are usually stupid as hell. Use Lyft. And Uber system is very unstable and stupid. Dont use it. Plz.

Horrible company ????????

Tried making an account but could not confirm account through my email. After clicking the link to confirm my account it would never load next page, all it would say was that too many redirects. Tried many times on mobile and computer but could not. ????????

Why Uber app dont have add a stop option

Hi, I am wondering why Uber didnt include add a stop option as provided by Lyft. Please try to include that option in the next update which would be more helpful to the customers.

Dont use this app.

Do not get involved with this company. I find Ubers business practices to be sneaky and despicable. Im not going to recommend this app from Uber. The Uber app pulls the resale value out of your car to Pay YOU. Uber needs to compensate and pay the drives real money, so they can fix and maintain there cars. Uber doesnt pay much to the drivers at all (Uber keeps about 60% of what the rider pay UBER). Once you consider your fuel cost, extremely high cost of ride-share car insurance, car maintenance and the terrible wear and tear on the car itself plus significant lose of value of your car at resale, especially because of the super high miles on your vehicle. The Uber app is a very bad deal for the drive. However the riders are getting a great deal on your dime and time. Sorry for the bad new. Heres a timeline of Ubers troubles so far this year. - Jan. 28: After President Donald Trump releases his first executive order on immigration, New York taxi drivers protest by refusing to pick up passengers at Kennedy Airport for an hour. Some protesters say Uber tries to capitalize on the protest by picking up passengers anyway, prompting a Twitter protest urging people to delete Ubers app from their smartphones. - Feb. 2: Uber CEO Travis Kalanick quits President Trumps council of business leaders amid mounting pressure from employees and customers over the immigration order. - Feb. 19: A former Uber engineer, Susan Fowler, discloses sexual harassment and sexism claims in a blog post about her year at Uber. Fowler says her boss propositioned her and higher-ups ignored her complaints. Kalanick calls Fowlers accusations "abhorrent" and hires former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate. - Feb. 23: Waymo, a self-driving car company spun off from Google, sues Uber. Waymo alleges that Anthony Levandowski - a former top manager for Googles self-driving car project - stole pivotal technology from Google before leaving to run Ubers self-driving car division. - Feb. 28: A video emerges of Kalanick arguing with an Uber driver. It includes yelling and profanity and ends with a combative Kalanick dismissing the agitated drivers claims that sharp reductions in fares forced him into bankruptcy. In an email to employees, Kalanick admits he needs leadership help. "I must fundamentally change as a leader and grow up," he says. - March 3: The New York Times reveals that Uber used a phony version of its app to thwart authorities in cities where it was operating illegally. Ubers so-called Greyball software identified regulators who were posing as riders and blocked access to them. The U.S. Justice Department is investigating Ubers use of the Greyball software. - March 19: Ubers president, Jeff Jones, resigns less than a year after joining the company. He tells the tech blog Recode that his approach to leadership is at odds with what he experienced at Uber. - April 18: Sherif Marakby, a global vice president who leads Ubers self-driving car program, leaves the company. - April 27: Levandowski announces he is stepping aside while Uber defends itself against the allegations from Waymo. - May 11: A federal judge in San Francisco rejects Ubers request for arbitration and refers Waymos case to the U.S. Attorneys office for a possible criminal investigation. Days later the judge bans Uber from using technology taken from Waymo, but doesnt order Uber to halt its self-driving vehicle program, as Waymo requested. The case is set for trial in October. - May 26: Kalanicks mother dies in a boating accident. His father is seriously injured. - May 30: Uber fires Levandowski. - May 31: Ubers finance chief Gautam Gupta says he plans to leave the company in July. - June 6: Uber fires 20 people after a law firm, Perkins Coie, investigates complaints of harassment, bullying and retaliation. That investigation, which was separate from Holders, checked into 215 complaints; 57 are still under investigation. - June 11: Ubers board meets with Holder and adopts a series of recommendations based on his report. - June 12: Emil Michael, Ubers senior vice president for business and a close ally of Kalanick, leaves the company. - June 13: Kalanick tells Uber employees that hes taking a leave for an unspecified period, but will be available for "the most strategic decisions." Ubers board releases Holders recommendations, which include removing some of Kalanicks responsibilities and replacing Ubers chairman and founder, Garrett Camp, with an independent chairman. Holder also recommends many cultural and policy changes, from establishing an effective complaint process to recruiting more diverse applicants to prohibiting alcohol and drug use during core work hours.

$20 coupon: harshp6993ue

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

The worst

My account was disabled and they make it so difficult to speak to a representative. I was never told why my account was disabled either. Ive been trying to reactivate it, but they made it impossible. Been able to use Lyft for the past two months at least??‍♀️

Awful update -- gross privacy violation

Quite simply an awful update that shows no respect for users. There simply is no need to track us at all times, and to take away the option to only give location while using. Youre asking us to trust you as a company that had a "god mode" they used to track unfriendly journalists? You must be bloody kidding? .
