Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away, and price is usually the cheapest.

This app wants to know my local location even when Im not using the app. This is an unwarranted invasion of my privacy.

Just started using Uber. Very impressed

A lot of people here arent rating the app. Theyre rating their own (biased, agenda-fueled) perception of the company itself. This is a great app and the service is excellent. If you want to make some sort of political statement, the ratings section of an app isnt the place to do it.

This new update allows uber to constantly track its customers 24/7 not only five minutes after as it says this completely invades your privacy and can be a very dangerous thing. Uber is just spiraling down from not bad to unusable this is completely ridiculous and should not be allowed whatsoever

I see people here giving 1 stars because they dislike the CEO of uber. This is an amazing app & it works really well. Thats what you are suppose to rate

Not sure if its the latest version causing the issue but my car no longer shows on the blue dot and the blue dot no longer pulses. There is no other way to verify that my driver app is actually working and Im available.

You took away the option of sharing location only while using the app. Guess whats easier than having to go into my settings every time to re-enable location and disable location?? ...using Lyft from now on. Put location sharing back to the users choice. ADDITIONALLY, I consider this company to be a bunch of scumbags for releasing a new update every few days to wipe out the negative reviews. There are no real updates to the app. If there were it would be from listening to the rage of their users and giving back the option of location while only using the app. And Ill continue to give 1 star until they do! Update: Uber recently sent an email "noticing" that I disabled location for the App. Well no crap, thats what happens when you dont care about user privacy. Im sure they had to send out a lot of those emails to others. My location will remain disabled until they bring back the option for only when using the app, and my business continues to go to Lyft.

ive always used uber and i had little problems but not as important as the one i had today, so i ordered an uber and she kept passing up the right turn for the apartment, i was just looking at her passing up the turn and she finally comes into the right turn for my apt building, she is talking on the phone and keeps driving really slow, im walking towards the car waving my hand but i guess she cant see me cause she is on the PHONEE!! keep in mind i was like 5 feet from the car walking towards it, then she just keeps driving off so i canceled it and uber charged my card $5.... ik it doesnt seem like alot but to some people (like me) it takes like 45 min to earn $5 at being 18 and working a minimum wage job and still in high school with bills to pay, so i reported it and all the uber company has to say back is "you will be charged after 2 minutes of waiting time" and you know i had to send another back saying "i told yall it wasnt my fault ima switch to another app and leave some "good" reviews" and well i want to see their response back

Completely over this app. I rely on it and it never takes any of my cards anymore. Ive tried three different card payments and its tells me for every card to try a different payment. This app is useless to me now.

I dont like that drivers rank the passenger, sorry I was drunk and loud, I was attempting not to get a DUI! Also my fair was $22 but the receipt said the trip was $14. No explanation for the added cost.

Not only is it ridiculously hard to find any customer support, half the features in this app dont work at all. For example, I cant change my profile picture even after I followed the directions. No wonder this company is on the way out.
