I dislike the fact that they charge for the ride right after requesting it. Also they charge extra if cancelling a ride after youve been waiting for over 2 mins. I like the fact that it is cheaper than lyft, they also recently started allowing to tip the driver! They should work onto enhancing the tracker to make it more accurate + more efficient routes. One last thing, the location thing is weird, tracking after a few mins of leaving a ride? Why? Last thing, the drop pin, Ive had drivers to cancel my ride costing me a lot of time wasted, because they claim drop pin location is not showing up on their phone even after I call them and give them directions to my location, kinda disgusting considering the fact that I am contributing to their income, their loss at then end. I see this app having a better future after sacking their CEO, therefore I am sticking with it and see how it goes.

Uber is evil. Horrible company, even worse customer service. I had a ride where I was sexually harassed and when I reported it, they took TEN HOURS to respond. They called me at 3 am and then sent me an email saying "sorry we missed you". Then, last week my driver drove over 30 minutes out of the way because she assumed I lived in one part of the city. When I asked where she was going, she said she assumed thats where I lived. I pointed out that the GPS even had my address. Uber charged me $20 for what was originally a $4 ride. When I contacted them, they responded that its company policy to charge if a driver takes a longer route. Since then, I have sent EIGHT emails to them to try and get my money refunded for my drivers mistake. They have not responded. They are a completely trash company. I would NEVER recommend them to my friends or anyone else for that matter. Also, Lyft is better and has better customer service. Maybe Uber should ask them for help with their customer service since its severely lacking.

You cant choose where the pin drops until after you scroll through a few screens in this version. Plus entering an address for my destination is usually something I do after Im sure The app knows where I am. Wifi and cellular turned on does help. Too bad other users dont know that. Try the VIA app if you live in Dc, Ny or Chicago. Much better.

Spent an hour trying to schedule a pickup. Got the promo code from my boyfriend, since Im a first time user, but you wouldnt accept my phone number or my boyfriends on his account. Even tried my brothers number, which finally worked then it said I couldnt use a promo code. Im not spending $24 to be driven to South Hill and back to downtown Puyallup. What a waste of time, not using this service at all now and I would not recommend to a friend.

How is it that a driver Im paying is able to rate me as a customer? When you buy groceries, does a cashier rate you? When you hire a limo, does a limo rate you? No. As a female, half of the time, the male drivers ask me for my number, and when I say no, they get insulted! Then they rate me for saying no! Are you SERIOUS? They shouldnt be able to rate a paying customer. Nowhere else is that possible-- restaurants cant rate their diners. Shopping malls cant rate their customers. Hairdressers cant rate their clients. It makes no sense. People say, oh, well, lets say a drunk customer throws up in the Uber-- the Uber driver gets paid $150 for a vomit customer!! So how can they possibly be able to rate the customer when theyre getting paid for the inconvenient behavior? Stupid concept.

App keeps freezing when hailing and during rides

App is okay. Can be buggy at times. Ive had drivers tell me that the app told them to go to areas where I wasnt, etc. Im especially disappointed with Ubers customer service. A driver accidentally picked up the wrong rider and gave me a low rating as a result. I contacted Uber to get the erroneous rating removed and they said "there is nothing we can do." Didnt even seem like they cared or made an effort.

Does not keep your information secure. Once you put your credit card information in for payment it does not allow you to remove it. Even if someone hacks your account from a different continent. Absolutely horrible customer service. No service number for the company, you have to email them and they take weeks to respond without a legitimate answer. I ended up spending 4 months trying to communicate to them that I no longer wanted the app and was trying to have them delete all of my info. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Just call a cab/taxi.

I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Does not allow me to add any of my cards and when it Denys my card then it blocks my account however Lyft accepts my card and is much better btw

If you havent signup uber driver then its use this code "jignishabenpue" to get $1000 credit. Uber is awesome car riding app, Found it very convenient. We can get car within 10-15 min from my location. Get driver ranking and your request will be executed within min for near by car. Prices also looks much compatible with others.Very good compatibility with Iphone 6 and Iphone 7. Here is some improvements they can do it in future apps : 1) Major privacy concern with app that they need allow option to turn off location tracking when app is not used 2) Pair near by driver rather then too far where we already available driver just beside us 3) Sometime location map does not display real time information 4) Getting lots of notification unlike sometime not getting important notification

So try Lyft.
