Uber App Reviews

I was trying to defend uber at first, but its clearly obvious that theyre making blank updates to clear the previous updates negative reviews. They should be banned for the Apple Store for making fake updates. Theyre scamming their users! Joke of a company.

Why would you remove the option to track location while using the app?

Why does it have to know where I am all the time, even after getting off an Uber car. Deleted from my phone.

Its a useful service but I dont see why they should be tracking me all the time. Creepy! Give your customers the option to let Uber track them only when using the app. Until then, bye bye Uber.

Uber does not respect our privacy and forces us to let them see where we are even when we arent using the app. They also support the US presidents hate for brown skinned people and protect sexual predators.

Wont download this app because of the privacy issues always tracking my location in the background. And for some reason assigned me a driver profile when I never made one strange.

Car never came, app shows cars that never come, and prices went up just in the time I was trying to get the app to bring me a car. Complete waste of time. Dont bother.

You guys dont realize that location services is not required right? You can just set your pick up location...otherwise great app.

If Lyft isnt available in your area, and you dont mind supporting a company that tracks your location at all times, and endorses sexual harassment and Trumps draconian views.

Tracking is always on. Uber is following its users in real time, everywhere they go, all the time. And theres no way to verify that its respecting the 5-min assertion. Huge privacy issue and sheer arrogance.

Love the ease and the real time with this app however we rely strongly on return trips (bring me there and back) with taxis - just ask! Easy, but with Uber it requires me to update the app while en route, then it charges then refunds my account. Seems a lot and reeeally hard especially when my son doesnt have data on his phone. Can we not add a "two stop request" within the app when we order?

Uber rides are always the worst

Used Uber recently while on a trip to California. Was very impressed with the App and our experience using Uber for the first time.

In my opinion its hands down the best rideshare/taxi out there. Most of these comments that are negative are in justified and people not doing their homework bcuz every negative comment I have read has not been true or they already do just the user does not know how to find the information they are looking for but its there. Very good service.

This app takes long to load because theres to much loading on the main screen. Uber eats? Thats why you guys have a second app! Any additional information should be on the setting tab, the main screen should be quick and clutter free.

Why do you need to access my location all the time? This is an invasion of privacy. And stop updating every 3 days we all know youre just trying to get rid of the bad reviews.

Nice new features, location always ON and we dont have the choice for "only when I use the app" option.

When I needed it most, it stopped working. Kept saying "fail" and wanted me to reenter my cc, but then that wouldnt work. I updated it, still wont work. Fix this please.
