Deleting app as a direct result of the stories coming out of Ubers San Francisco engineering teams. It seems Nenshis assessment of the company is correct.

If you ever have any issues with their service, their customer support is garbage. Their will always give you a vague candid response and ask for your personal identification. If you ask for more details, they will ban you from the service. User beware!!!

Ok simple app, but the fake cars on the map are annoying.

I dont like how the only options for location services are always on or nothing (in which case you need to enter pickup and drop off locations) and cant even accept a split Uber fare without turning on location services. Also not a fan of the change to not show much the surge pricing is.

Car came exactly why app said it would,the driver was respectful,courteous,I will use Uber again.

They never take your side it takes about 16 reps to finally get anywhere. Overall esp what Ive been hearing on the news theyre not a good company. Avoid use when possible.

The app is pretty convenient. Everything else is crap. My past few rides have all been in 10yr old cars, drivers who cant navigate without the gps, and bald snow tires that cant get up the small hill near my house. I had a driver that stank of alcohol and Uber customer support wouldnt give me the license plate number to report driver to the police.

Its nice knowing whos picking you up, dropping you off where and how much itll cost. I always have the best drivers who are fun and easy to talk too, and have the greatest music playlist.

For me its was Unknown City and driver was asking which way i can use. And in middle of trip he was like can i use washroom will be back in 5 mins

If you have an issue their customer service is generic responses. Sounds like youre talking to siri email. Unreolved issue I had and they basically told me generically too bad so sad. Horrible service!

The app is excellent except for the unnecessary invasion of privacy by always monitoring your location even when you arent using the app. That is an abuse that should be illegal

App forces you to share location even when its not open. Wont use until this is fixed. Privacy is important! No changes after there latest update. Respect my privacy. No money for you until this is fixed. Again no change after update. You lost out on lots of money over there holiday season Uber. And you know what, my local taxi firm doesnt have surge pricing either.

The main reason why people liked Uber is a simplicity of application and convenience of service. We new developments service became more complicated. The mandatory final destination address makes customer spend en extra time. In case the address entered incorrect, driver cant go before changes are made. And if internet is slow or unavailable- there is no way to make this change.

You better hope the app and your rides go smoothly because you really dont want to deal with their customer support. It is awful!! All they do is copy and paste generic responses. They dont really care about your issues. They just want to clear their complaint box. ??
