I want to give drivers perspective. Uber is very cruel to drivers by manipulating their rating and simply just not paying them for trips . You probably know how bad GPS and pickups are , as there is always an issue .... Since May 21st Uber only has to pay Driver $X per mile and minute. Once Uber pays the driver the amount , they get the remainder of how much YOU the customer are willing to pay. So if customers agree to pay $30 for a ride for 10 minutes, theyll pay driver $10 and pocket the extra $20 Uber is purposely overcharging rider to keep the rest of the money. Switching to Lyft. Drivers repeatedly wait until they are almost there and then cancel. No way to contact customer support to voice my concern so voicing it here...along with 1 star. This behavior is a waste of time and battery life on my phone.

The app needs an option to only use location when using the app. Not sure why uber can’t do this but Lyft can.
