They keep messing up my profiles, can request a ride nor pay for it anyway, really bad customer service, i cant even log in into my account, uber is really bad, do not download

Id like the reliability updates to be more substantial, if you know what I mean.

Location services must be left always on for the app to properly work.

Uber needs to change the location services from "Always" to "While Using" for both privacy reasons and battery life.

Theres no easy way to contact customer service except sending an email. At this golden age of cell phone and online chat, who wouldnt want to try to resolve their problems right away through one person instead of constant emails back and forth? This kind of service is not just time consuming but also disconnected for the customers. Uber does not provide any service-oriented support unfortunately.

Could not get it to accept any of my definitely valid payment options. Absolute garbage. Was trying to order a ride for a friend and ended up spending an hour of my own time driving instead of treating them to a five minute Uber ride.

Its really sad that Ive mostly had a positive experience with the company but upon my first issue with a promotion code not working as it should they have completely been awful. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in my life. They clearly dont care about retaining customers and it will be their downfall. Ive had an account for over 2 years and will be deleting it.

I dislike that this app wants access to my location at all times.

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!

First I ordered and uber and waited at the spot I was at. Then it says that the uber is less than 3 mins away. So I wait for about 10 mins and the uber canceled and made me pay a 5$ cancellation fee. On top of that I ended up walking home. Scammed me huh.

My uber account got hacked and unauthorized charges were made. Uber responded that it could not process my inquiry when I notified them of issue. I had to cancel my credit card, now the fun begins! Buyer beware.

I ordered a uber pool with my friend to go home a little bit before 1am after our night out. We went out for dinner and were both sober when we got on the car. We were chatting with each other in the back seat and when we arrived we got off and left. The driver then didnt end the trip, he has continued the time for another 15 mins and submitted fake photos that we vomited in and out of his car and said that we damaged his car. But we didnt, we left the car in perfect condition. Uber never investigated this cheating driver and went ahead and charged $150 on my account, I have since wrote over 20 emails to uber explaining the situation and has gotten the same non helpful responses. I went to fill a police report against this driver and also a report to the TLC for him committing customer fraud. I would like uber to this issue very seriously and give me justice in this case and refund me the full amount that should never be charged to my account along with compensation! Thank you!

Very nice and reliable promotions that save a tun of money been riding for uber for a while I needed does promotions Uber the best app will continue to use hopefully work for them one day very reliable thank you Uber !

Uber has now decided that its ok to add on charges after youve been dropped off and received your initial receipt. I was charged $20 for a toll that was already charged on my initial receipt. Then when I asked them to refund the additional charge, they said it was actually because during a portion of my ride, it went into peak surge pricing. I used Uber several times a week for the last 5 years, but can safely say Ill be taking yellow cabs and lyft from now on!
