I have been trying to setup the app for about 13 hours. Cant get past the phone number screen because the code is never sent...
There is high variability in when drivers arrive and they can take 2-3x longer than originally stated. Two minutes is not enough wait time, it should go back to five. I have noticed many drivers are slow to start the ride to dry to get a little extra $.

Its no wonder this company is going down the toilet. I received an Uber gift card, added to my account but they make it difficult to use it (as it was only linked to one of my profiles apparently). So after a ride I requested they credit me back and apply my gift card... I was told that was "against company policy" ridiculous. Intentionally making it hard to use a gift card is just poor business practice. And then, the next time I go to use the app, my gift card balance has disappeared. You know I company is doing poorly when they start finding inventive ways to screw customers.
Recent customer service experiences left much to be desired. I had an old phone number on my account. Rather than allow me to update it online I have to contact customer service to do so. Turnaround time is several hours. Driver is unable to locate me at the hospital and cancels. I believe the status quo when you breed a culture of sexism and your companys reputation is reflective of this - is to improve the customer experience. Unfortunately uber seems determined to buck the trend here. There is too much competition in the industry (i.e. Lyft) not to vote with my wallet.
When requesting rides and getting rides the App works fine, my problem is getting charged for rides I never requested or took, to destinations I would never need to go and I requested a refund and nothing was ever done, So App was erased and now I use Lyft, with lyft your able to use Apple Pay so Lyft never actually has your Card ? information which is great, I am still a little fearful that Uber has my card ? info
This app continues to take a turn for the worse. First and most importantly, they want to share your location ALL the time in order to use the app. Second, when you open the app, no cars appear until you type in destination. This give you a sense that youll never get a ride because theyre are no drivers.
They wont find you if your in the hustle and bustle of a busy crosswalk of a major urban city downtown center blending in with a number of other people. How do they find you? HOW DO YOU FIND THEM? NO SIGNAGE DISPLAYED ON THEIR VEHICLES. So you you see 10 cars that look just like theirs drive right past you. They should mandated to have a indicator of some type on the vehicle. Its coming. Probable works outside of downtown. My very first two times using this the drivers have not been able to find me standing on a downtown Tampa bay intersection. They both blamed it on the GPS functionality of the uber app.

Uber purposefully underestimates your pickup time when searching for a ride. I am starting to think that you should at least double what it tells you to get an accurate estimate.
Whenever I request an uber, it seems like the app doesnt connect me with the closest driver. My wait time is now over 10 minutes average. I feel like it has something to do with the latest update.
Completely trash compared to lyft . Also love when the driver gives you the run around and then they cancel after 5 min and you get charged a fee which goes to them.
90% of Uber rides are late and 70% of Uber drivers get lost. I will no longer be using their services or wasting anymore of my time or money.

Horrible the first time my card information was stolen and then after several months when I want to finally give them another chance they tell me my ride would be here in 7 min so I decide to get the uber after I make the purchase they tell me 18 min and even though it was there mistake they charge you $5 to cancel which whats the same amount of the ride
Uber drivers are unprofessional; and when you try to complain about it they only send you automates answers. Worst customer service!!!!! Lyft is a way better option in all aspects.
