You people and your idea are both rad and therefor have one extra job description: stay in business and stay awesome. One other thing, where have you been when I couldve really used you to drive along side with? ?

My requests constantly fail to connect to the point I give up and use Lyft.

I used Uber a lot over the past several years... but now Uber has run off the rails. Their privacy setting for the app pretty much wants you give the app full access to your exact location ALL the time. No thanks to tracking me all the time. All-the-time GPS drains batteries too. This is just stupid Uber. But I am happy to report one AWESOME thing about Ubers downgrade - Uber convinced me to try Lyft and Fasten. Both are excellent, less expensive alternatives to Uber, and without the personal privacy abuses offered by Uber. Thanks Uber, for showing me that there are better fish in the sea. Original Review: Since the app and service are tightly coupled, my review is for both. Overall, very good. Generally better than a cab. I have had one problem driver - crazy guy - but likely no less crazy than some cab drivers I have had. App could be easier to use, but it is quite good.

They track your location when youre not using the app! They save your credit card information and never delete it! You CANNOT delete your account! Surge prices are straight up robbery!

The focus seems to be adding useless social media bloat instead of critical useful features like the ability to tip your driver in the app. This defeats the whole purpose of having the convenience of paying with your phone if you cant tip your drivers meaning you still have to have cash on you. Lyft is just a much better experience and has had the ability to pay for everything including the tip with the app.

Quite simply an awful update that shows no respect for users. There simply is no need to track us at all times, and to take away the option to only give location while using. Youre asking us to trust you as a company that had a "god mode" they used to track unfriendly journalists? You must be bloody kidding? .

The drivers are great. The company is not. Location is always on. Cant tip from within the app. The app doesnt pinpoint for the drivers where you are. They say that they get a range for your location. That frequently makes you late to something because they are driving around looking for you.

I typically use Uber for running late to work or events, safe rides, and quick trips in inclement weather and, close to 100% of the time, the drivers are on time, super friendly, professional and have great taste in music. I highly recommend Uber to anyone looking for a safe, convenient and fairly priced ride. ?

Tracking me when the app is off isnt allowed. I dont care if its only for five minutes. How many updates are going to go by until this is fixed? Still location tracking? Is it really worth the horrible ratings?

Uber is amazing. What a great idea. Easy to use. I love being able to see where my ride is, how close it is. Then Im able to follow along on the destination. Ive also sent an uber to pick someone up. It worked great, I was able to follow along and see the progress and how long until the ride arrived.

Service is fine. App is bloated beyond all reason...

Uber app tracks you location even if you are not using it. Combining this with the todays report that uber tried to track your identity even after you deleted its app in 2015, I can clear see that this is a really shady company. Latest update (may 15) still has all or nothing for location privacy setting. Really terrible.

Ive been using the app now for about 5 months because I recently moved to Georgia. I use my commuter benefits that I get through my employer which is pretty nice since I have a family of four and my wife normally takes the care to work. I was able to schedule rides using my commuter benefits card with the app until recently ( BAD UBER ). Using my benefits I experience longer wait times then someone using a debit or credit card which I dont mind but talking away the ability to schedule the ride in advance before going to work or an appointment was really helpful and now Im stuck waiting on the ride of which several times had made me late thanks to some of the no count drivers who cant follow simple directions that I text then before even picking me up. This is such an inconvenience not being able to schedule rides just because Im using my commuter benefits. It spends the same way and they have always gotten the money. This practice seems kind of discriminatory because your putting people who want to use those benefits as last on the totem pole and not giving the use to the dance features as everyone else. This is bad customer service and I do know what great customer service is because I do work for a very well respected and reputable company. Fix this....
