BUT THERE IS NO UBER IN SALEM!!!!! LIKE WHAT THE!!! There is Uber a hour away from me, but, in the capital of my state doesnt have it.

This app is getting worse, just like the uber service in general. I dont want to enter the destination before I order a car. I dont want uber spying on me. Uber: your service is terrible.

They really have a bad customer service. I dont like that they use my location data always. And when you turn it off they dont let you use the app features as a punishment. What kind of a company does that. Use an app called Lyft. Its way better in everything, even prices.

Uber app tracks you location even if you are not using it. Combining this with the todays report that uber tried to track your identity even after you deleted its app in 2015, I can clear see that this is a really shady company. Latest update (may 8) still has all or nothing for location privacy setting. Really terrible.

Absolute garbage app. The Las Vegas airport has a designated pick up spot that our driver refused to find. He then canceled our ride after we waited 20 minutes. At this point, surge pricing tripled the cost of the ride and we ended up taking a taxi. Our second attempt to use the app left us wandering around looking for an address because the app couldnt figure out where we were and considering all the trouble we had the first time we said forget it and downloaded the Lyft app. Literally in less than 3 minutes had the Lyft app set up, promo code in, pick up location automatically loaded with special instructions and we had less than a 4 minute wait until our driver arrived. The GPS on the uber app is trash. Really disappointing. Oh and the first driver who refused to pick us up at the airport tried to charge us a cancellation fee. Although, Uber did refund it.

---UBER doesnt disclose pricing anymore. Cant tell surge, per mile price. Hiding costs. Illegal. You are the only game in town that has the most business. Lyft is there but not close. Your LA Rates can be liveable and you make more money. People have no real choice they will use Uber even at normal rates. P

The crisis in leadership at Uber has manifested itself in this companys inability to listen to its employees, drivers and customers. Since Uber began forcing users to Always allow location services, countless customers have complained. In typical Uber fashion, expediency has overruled compassion and empathy and customer complaints have been ignored. Stop telling customers that you are interested in their feedback if youre just going to ignore it.

Wants 24/7 access to gps location - not just when using the app. KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE SPYWARE. Give us back the "when using app" option.

Why uber needs location permission as always? While not using app though it should not use the current location

Travel all over the place and uber is my go to. Safe, reliable and makes cities accessible!

It works OK, but the app consumes 160 MB of RAM (plus 8 MB of my data). This is a big chunk of memory if your phone only has 16 GB.

I basically live in the ghetto and theres always a "surge," like honey half the people that live here cant afford Uber. I know these surges are just BS.

Switched to Lyft. Uber uses your location always (lyft: only when using). Uber is the company busted for fingerprinting phones, blogging about hook up trips and geofencing to target individuals.

Always on location tracking is unacceptable. Bring back the option for "while using." There is no justification to exclude this opinion. Listen to your customers and change this immediately.

Its been good I like Uber besides the whole invading the location privacy of millions of innocent people everyday.But other than that app is cool ,prices just a little higher then a taxi sometimes.Uber $10 dollars for an $8 dollar taxi ride, on other hand across the city is only $20 dollars ,in a taxi would probably be around $40, only 2 drivers canceled most are friendly and honest people just trying to make a living.

2017 has been rough for Uber. Just look at the rating between uber and Lyft. Theres a big difference because the customer service for Uber is terrible for both its drivers and riders. They dont have a phone number? Lol. The support just repeats its rules and never actually answers the questions. I would much rather drive for Lyft because of this. But its not available in my area. When it is Im done! See ya Uber.

As a medicine student in a foreign country this app has saved me and is way cheaper than any other method of transportation

Some drivers hate service dogs in their car! I get it, pet hair & allergies are a thing! Please allow an option for drivers to opt for/against this. I made my profile picture my dog in garb in hopes that this would be noticed by my drivers. Thanks!
