Were all done with Uber?

Downloaded/redownloaded the app. Months later Ian still waiting for the 4 digit phone number verification text message.

Hate that i have to turn on and off the location ruins the whole app experience

Download Lyft, Gett, etc instead. Dont support this awful company.

Poor service that has gotten ruder and ruder. Poor user interface. Poor ethics. Problematic location tracking!! And drains the battery. Criminal behavior. Apple - remove from "essentials". Stories about Apple CEO lecturing Uber do not impress, take action! Not a consumer friendly company. Will my location data get hacked when Uber gets hacked? Why do you need my location when not using the app??? PRIVACY CONCERN!! And app quality getting worse not better. Go with the other guys. Apple- this app should be removed from "essentials" as nobody needs a battery draining 24/7 location tracker to hail a ride sharing service. This is not essential to anyone... Uber, the update you tried to sneak past us right before thanksgiving changes the location services to being able to track me even when not using the app. That is unacceptable. Just deleted the app and will NOT be using Uber anymore. #badpolicy #shameful Really a step backwards for Uber.

UBER System issues will not allow me to use my credits and UBER refuses to issue me a refund.

I refuse to support this company. CEO doesnt value customers. Lyft is much better here anyway and I can tip drivers in the app.

Check your review in about a week, only you will be able to see your review no one else. I find Ubers business practices to be sneaky and despicable. Im not going to recommend this app from Uber. The Uber app pulls the resale value out of your car to Pay YOU. Uber needs to compensate and pay the drives real money, so they can fix and maintain there cars. Uber doesnt pay much to the drivers at all (Uber keeps about 60% of what the rider pay UBER). Once you consider your fuel cost, extremely high cost of ride-share car insurance, car maintenance and the terrible wear and tear on the car itself plus significant lose of value of your car at resale, especially because of the super high miles on your vehicle. The Uber app is a very bad deal for the drive. However the riders are getting a great deal on your dime and time. Sorry for the bad new.

Prefer Lyft by a long way.

I had an awfully bad experience with this app. Not worth even trying. They have so many taxi drivers but thats the problem. Anyone can paint their car yellow and call them self apart of uber. Ive never experienced such a bad time. Please make sure to be careful when taking rides from strangers.

Seriously? Uber wants to track your location 24/7, even when youre not using the app. Uber is the best thing to ever happen to Lyft. Ill only use Lyft now, and I hope more people with a conscience follow!

Cause really you data miners?!

After weeks of considering deleting uber I finally did it, the location feature is awful, drivers randomly cancel on my requests, and my overall experience has been terrible. What really did it for me though was the fact that I requested an uber to go to the airport (in Chicago) and even though I typed Midway and thats what it said on the request, my driver got directions for OHare.. thank God I knew immediately he was going the wrong way, this is such a huge mistake I cant even imagine not knowing the city and missing my flight just because Ubers GPS is not working. Since your GPS is worthless, the drivers (or the CUSTOMER!) should be able to pick their own route!

Previously, Uber will access your location WHILE you are USING the app. This is normal for a ride sharing service. However, Uber now changed its app such that it REQUIRE to KNOW your location AT ALL TIMES, whether the app is opened or not. Uber is tracking you and this amount to Privacy invasion. I now use Lyft.
