Poor customer service. If u need them, they are not there for you.

I have been fighting w uber all week. My uber account and PayPal were hacked. Someone has been joy riding around California on my dime. My app, password, and account keep acting up. Cant even request an uber because I owe them money. Uber customer service is JOKE! I have lost count how many emails I have sent. You get a different rep every time . A different answer every time. Drivers get a number to call but riders do not!!!! NEVER USE PAYPAL FOR UBER!!!!! They link it and apparently it can be used as a log in!! Which I was not made aware of. So if you get hacked, youre screwed. Your bank cant prove it was uber. The transaction just says PayPal.

I dont like the fact that Uber is constantly tracking my location. It used up my battery life and data. Why is this necessary? I compared it to Lyft and it tends to be a bit more expensive. Ive also had bad experience with Uber. My phone was minutes from dying and I needed to get home. It was nighttime and it was cold. The Uber app says hes close. Apparently he couldnt find me but I standing where ALL of the other Ubers were picking people. He finally finds me but to my surprise says he picking up someone else. He refuses to take me anywhere and drives off. My phone dies. I have to Take a 30 minute bus ride and walk 40 minutes home at NIGHT. Thanks a lot Uber.

Uber use to be good. Until I got into an accident in one last night and they poorly handled the situation. They need to do a better job screening their drivers and their driving record because my driver ran a red light.

We need to tip the drivers ... why you guys dont have the tip option in the app ....

This app is really bad. First of all you shouldnt be punished for canceling your trip if the driver is 12-15min away! The whole point of using car service is getting where you need on time. I requested a ride today and waited for the driver 8 min and then he just canceled on me.. so wait I cant cancel my trip but the driver just randomly decided to screw me over? Also after canceling my trip Uber decided to charge me TWICE the money I initially was going to pay. Never again l. Deleting it today and I advice you do the same

I dont like Uber. Its that simple.

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Wft uber!?! I never do reviews, but in this case I must. How completely sloppy, backhanded, unethical, invasive of you to only give me the option of knowing where I am "never" or "always". You should only know my location when I am using the app. You lost a customer to Lyft. And you know what, it works just the same as you guys. You have lost my business, and every other person who understands what you have done. Everyone, do not allow them to know your location all the time, it kills your battery on your phone, and too many other things to list here.

To Uber means more like to swindle. Heres your new verb, brah! Privacy invasion by SF bros to take advantage of you zuck-style. What did you expect from a company headed by frat boy SF bros?? Horrible experience where VCs want to crony their way into your life with greed & to monetize everything but all we wanted was a safe ride by someone w a background check & great privacy practices. Turn off location 24/7. Its none of your business, brah.

Uber will not let me use any of their payment options - including - PayPal, credit cards and now even a gift card. Lyft has served me better and accepts all the above payments with no hesitation. Seems like I will be using them instead of Uber. What is the point of buying a $20 gift card when I cant even use it?? Thanks for making me have to go through my bank for a refund. Would not recommend to anyone.

I dont know why anyone support these guys! Every update is to make it better for them to charge us more, and pay drivers less.. it been proven countless time before!! Its so hard to get my cancellation fee back as well, they just put it toward the next ride, and still dont pay the driver for the next trip..

I love uber but this update is the worst user experience change ever ! Absolutely difficult to use and face many problem ! Come back to precious version please.

While the previous app was easy to use, especially regarding the departure location and rating of drivers, I have still to figure out how to rate drivers, drivers with a service quality clearly going down!

I use Uber all the time, great service and app. Just a small thing that is a little bit annoying. While using my business profile the receipt I receive is in the form of an email which is not printer friendly. Would be much better if the receipt would come in a better format.

Sometimes you get a car right away, sometimes they send you a car from miles away. The drivers follow navigation systems, meaning you stand in traffic jams most of the time. Not impressed.

Dont upgrade if you are in China. It doesnt work in China

"Thank you" for making the app not working anymore in China. As any other ride-hailing app in China it is now only available in Chinese language. Uber was the only service available in other languages. Now 800.000 expats are left behind
