I find Ubers business practices to be sneaky and despicable. Im not going to recommend this app from Uber. The Uber app pulls the resale value out of your car to Pay YOU. Uber needs to compensate and pay the drives real money, so they can fix and maintain there cars. Uber doesnt pay much to the drivers at all (Uber keeps about 60% of what the rider pay UBER). Once you consider your fuel cost, extremely high cost of ride-share car insurance, car maintenance and the terrible wear and tear on the car itself plus significant lose of value of your car at resale, especially because of the super high miles on your vehicle. The Uber app is a very bad deal for the drive. However the riders are getting a great deal on your dime and time. Sorry for the bad new.

Uber had become my default when traveling, but having to change the location services now due to always on versus only when in app is a shame, this needs to be fixed as it impacts battery life

This app watches you 24/7. Most likely to see if youre using lyft or not. Unethical and deceptive business practices.

Uber doesnt care about their customers OR their drivers. I have had horrible customer service experiences with them, have heard of drivers getting ripped off by them, I dont use them anymore, and warn people about this company all the time. LYFT has a-freaking-mazing customer service, they have always been timely, courteous and effective in resolving whatever issue I might have. Uber doesnt deserve your business, Lyft does!!!

I had an issue before where an Uber driver accepted my ride request and then never picked me up. I sent a screenshot along with my complaint when I reported the driver "stole" my payment without ever picking me up. (I couldnt even get a hold of the driver.) I never got any response from Uber, and never got my money back. There are other conveniences and businesses that are above and better than this.

Lies about pickup times. Assigns your pickup to drivers that already have passengers, furthering the delays. Used to be very effective. No wonder there is an exodus from the c-suite at a corporate level.

There is no number for costumer service and takes too long they reply your email. This is ridiculous ‼️‼️‼️

I do have this application on my iPhone and when I downloaded also to iPad, noted it crashes after pressing its icon in order to launch the application. Ive sent a message to Uber through their facebook page but didnt receive any relevant information about how to workaround this issue in particular, they just recommended updating my iOS, restarting my device; even with a previous message which I explained all procedures were been done before any contact. Anyway, frustrating approach by Uber technical support and no uber app working on my new iPad. I urge you for some quick and effective answer over this simple technical request, otherwise I will be forced to merge/use other riding platforms...

Pick up and drop off location are always inaccurate to where I am at. This constantly causes drivers to get lost or to drive past my house leading to longer wait times and more cancelled trips. Please look at fixing this as it currently wants me to jump a fence or run in to the middle of the highway to meet my drivers.

Doesnt allow me to delete one payment method even when I have three cards registered. Always asking me to take photos of my credit card.

If you thought Google is evil, Uber is worst. They should be ashamed of themselves with the way they operate and track your every move.

Wants 24/7 access to gps location - not just when using the app. KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE SPYWARE. Give us back the "when using app" option

If you are a new user, use the code "UberEnllol" to get your first trip for free. At least you will get something free from them. Update: Uber now requests having access to your location all the time. Hopefully, I managed to restore an old version of the app. Please, change that sneaky setting, or I will stop using the service. And also, drivers are commonly cancelling rides these days, so you have to manually request for another ride with a higher fare! Unfair! I have ended up walking home. On recent news they have disclosed how shady is Uber. Selling location info and buying data to unmorally own the competition.

Helps out a great deal in getting my people around safely

I have been a loyal Uber user for the last 2 years, im a traveling student (which means my income in basically nothing). I took an Uber the other day: Normal ride, no issues, quiet driver. 3 days later I received a notice that I would be charged an extra $80 for a mess that occurred in the back seat during my trip. I reached out to Uber through the app (because unlike LYFT they do not have a customer service number) and tried to explain the situation: like always I was in the front seat as a personal preference, and that mess could not have been caused by me. I received emails from Uber saying they acknowledge my message but the situation had been "investigated" and they would not refund the amount. I tried for a day responding with emails back and forth trying to get my refund until Uber decided to stop responding. I will no longer be using Uber and I implore you if youre reading this to not waste your time and money. Lyft is just as effective and I have been happy with their service to date. Also they have a customer service phone number, so you can actually talk to someone about any issues! DELETE UBER, DOWNLOAD LYFT!
