App Muito bom

Still a great way to get a fast(ish) ride around the city without using cash, but no longer consistently cheaper than a taxi (often same price or more during "peak hours") And as mentioned a bunch of times throughout these reviews the new update has your Location Services on "Always" or "Never" no "While Using" and I cant stress how irritating that is! I have to always turn it on when I want to use it and off after Im done because theres absolutely NO NEED for Uber to track my location 24/7 This invading data collection system with no direct benefit to customers in the name of "improvement" needs to stop! Which concludes my 2 stars review! Get it together Uber!

This app has been acting up lately, like sometimes when Im trying to request a driver and it doesnt work it keep saying Failed and after trying 10 times then I works. And the Satellite GPS is giving drivers wrong pickup location all the time.

Why do you need to access my location all the time? This is an invasion of privacy. And stop updating every 3 days we all know youre just trying to get rid of the bad reviews.

As much as I hate using taxis, at least they dont spy on you when you arent using them. Uber is an evil company and should be avoided at all costs. Dont give them any of your hard earned money.

Uber is not a transportation company or a tech business. It is a full on terrorist network on par with al queada taliban or isis

Uber monitors your location always, not just when in use. They got caught fingerprinting your phone. This is the company that blogged about "hookup" trips and is hostile to employees who report abuses. Impossible to see surge prices. Note: drivers make significantly less than what you pay. In major metros Ubers cut is 40-50% of the fare.

All I was trying to do was get a hold of a customer service representative via email or via the app and could not find a way to reach out to anyone, just directed to FAQs. This is disgusting that if I have a specific question outside of the predetermined options I cant even reach anyone at a $1 billion+ b2c company.

Provide some proper descriptions please. Even if youre just improving performance and ridding bugs, at least say something other than the same copy/past message. You may as well not saying anything. Try to be professionals, please.

The recent events that have occurred, chalked up with what happened in 2015, has made me lose my trust with Uber. The expertise Ive had with drivers and the service itself has been absolutely wonderful, but I cannot support this company any longer that invades my privacy to this extent. Its a true shame.

Not sure why every time I use Uber my driver is 3 mins away, then 8 mins away, then 5 mins away, all in the matter of a few minutes. Also frustrated with the fact that the GPS isnt accurate a lot of the time. Other than that I love the ease of Uber and the clean cars. Drivers are usually wonderful and friendly minus the few bad eggs. Please fix the app!!!!!

I wish I could give uber 1 star. Been overcharged multiple times and every time I have been in a uber they drive very recklessly and I feel like we are going to crash

Uber doesnt think rules apply to them. Their fingerprinting and geo-fencing with the app is the last straw in a long line of poor ethics. It is being deleted.

Location services option needs to go back to switch on only when using app. Theres no reason to "Always" require sharing my location. Lyft doesnt have this problem. Keep updating to clear the bad reviews out everyones just going to keep reposting them.

Read any other review, and you will hear complaints about ethics. APPLE ALMOST REMOVED THIS APP FROM THE APP STORE. They use shady algorithms to avoid government regulators from using the app. Do not use. Use another app, any other app instead.

Boycott this app?

I used Uber quite a lot over the past several years... but now theyve run totally off the rails. Their privacy posture is truly nutsoid, limiting my choices of how they use GPS. Full time GPS drains batteries too. Uber doesnt seem to care. But I am happy to report one AWESOME thing about Ubers downgrade - Uber convinced me to try Lyft and Fasten. Both are excellent, less expensive alternatives to Uber, and without the personal privacy abuses offered by Uber. Thanks Uber, for showing me that there are better fish in the sea. Original Review: Since the app and service are tightly coupled, my review is for both. Overall, very good. Generally better than a cab. I have had one problem driver - crazy guy - but likely no less crazy than some cab drivers I have had. App could be easier to use, but it is quite good.
