When I reported that someone took my ride, the customer service told me they saw the map the driver complete the trip so they couldnt do anything about it. Thats mean someone took my trip and I paid it. This thing happened twice, now wont give them a try. Attitude that they have are absolutely terrible.

Every thing I have ever heard about uber has been negative. Switching to lyft

Several years ago, the app worked seamlessly. Now, it gets tangled up in its underwear. I have started using Lyft as a result. Yesterday was the third time this app got hung up on my iPhone 7. It wouldnt let me put in the route. I gave up after the 3rd try and ordered a Lyft in a few seconds.

Uber doesnt respect the customers and drivers, It gets your data and uses it for own good. Deleted the app...

Location services is on all the time even if you are not using the app draining the battery

I needed a ride so I called an uber and It said i was going to cost me like 4 bucks and some cents but then when I arrived at my destination i had to pay $12.56 and I was like how the hell did this happen, I tried solving the problem but they never answered so this is trash

Absolutely do not use Uber, they track your location even after you delete the app.

You took away the option of sharing location only while using the app. Guess whats easier than having to go into my settings every time to re-enable location and disable location?? ...using Lyft from now on. Put location sharing back to the users choice. ADDITIONALLY, I consider this company to be a bunch of scumbags for releasing a new update every few days to wipe out the negative reviews. There are no real updates to the app. If there were it would be from listening to the rage of their users and giving back the option of location while only using the app. And Ill continue to give 1 star until they do! Update: Uber recently sent an email "noticing" that I disabled location for the App. Well no crap, thats what happens when you dont care about user privacy. Im sure they had to send out a lot of those emails to others. My location will remain disabled until they bring back the option for only when using the app, and my business continues to go to Lyft.
